I took this awesome man made stairway made out of rocks down towards the Lake. I found myself under and near cedar trees and piles of rocks and fossils. I looked at the shoreline and seen next to no rocks. I then decided to stay in the dry rocks and dip them in my pail filled with Lake Michigan water. It was 50F on this mid April day but with the wind and being near the Lake it felt like 20 degrees. But I still had a great time out there looking through all the rocks and fossils. I did cut the video short only because my battery died on the camera which happens in the cold. I hope to return here again. It was a fun day finding so many stromatoporoids, which are a form of ancient sponge that had fossilized over millions of years.
    Thank You for Watching :)

Great day. Hope to hunt a little today before stroms come in this evening. Next week should be great. Sun and temps in the 90s! Thanks for the trip. ❤

Great finds! The big Stromatoporoid you kept is exactly what I look for when I’m looking for ones to slab and make jewelry out of🙂

The flag made from rocks is very cool. Love the colored stones in the stairs. Very cool. Doesn't seem like there's a lot to choose from at this beach. 04:54 is kind of a neat looking rock. Time does go by fast when having fun. Seems awfully unfair lol. You said that one was big, I was king of thinking several of them looked pretty big. You found some nice ones for sure. I like those honeycomb ones. I think they're pretty cool looking. Great day of hunting.

It was a fun day in April. I did hurt my bum knee right away on them beautiful rock steps but I kept going. I drove to far to go back ! I noticed it kind of shows in the video. (pain in knee) I sat most of the time on the stairs. I still had fun. Thanks for watching😊

Did you notice that the flag made of stones had 48 stars? That means it was made anywhere from 1912-1958, during the wheat penny years. Very cool. Were you on the Stonington Peninsula?

I did not notice the amount of stars on the flag. That is interesting to know. I was in Wisconsin on this day. Thanks for noticing the stars and for watching😊
