Fossils Agates Petrified Wood and More After Being Cut on a Wet Tile Saw

Finally got some nice weather this Spring so I got out the wet tile saw and cut up agates, petrified wood, fossils and more. I was pretty pleased with most of them. I tried cutting most into slabs to be tumbled in my rock tumblers to then be wire wrapped. It will be some time before they are done tumbling, but when done I will show you my wire wrapped rocks.

The pinkish red ones at 6:00 are gorgeous. The mossy red one is wonderful. I really liked the black and white quartzite looking one. All the petwood is looking really good. Mr Cardinal was clearly impressed by all the rocks 😆 Thanks for sharing Cherry.
I will cutting some more maybe agates from Lake Superior this summer and hope they look like one at 6:00 ! The petwood looked so plain before I started tumbling them. Then I want to try cutting them after step two in the tumbler but as you can see all the beauty is on the outside, so back in the tumbler they went :) Thanks much for watching😊

It's cool to see what's inside. That red agate at the beginning is beautiful. The fossils are neat. The red moss agate is pretty. I still haven't tried my tile saw. Those will be nice tumbles. 😊

Glad you didnt hurt yourself. There just never is a big enough saw. Gonna be some goodies coming out of the tumbler soon it looks like.

Nice Cuts! The Stripey one at the beginning looks like an awesome piece of Gneiss…oldest on the planet! I do one in my vid next Friday 😜
If it is gneiss it will not shine well once tumbled. They tumble like granite. Granite undercuts a lot. I do like some granite though :) Thanks much for watching 😊

Oh I love seeing the sides of the gray/black and white. That is so pretty! Looks like a nice smooth cut too. Can't wait to see them all tumbled up. Bet they'll be gorgeous. Weird how that agate had a bubble. I would have cut it apart too. Really like those black and white ones. Um that's scary that the rock went flying when you was trying to cut it. Glad it went the other way. That would have hurt if it had hit you. The moss agate looks pretty darn cool. Sounds like you have some happy birds near by. At first, I thought they were outside my window lol. I had to pause to see if it was the video or not. Great batch of cut rocks. Bet most will be really pretty when tumbled.
The black and white rocks/fossils are amazing looking. So glad I cut them into slices :) Oh the birds, I feed them so yes they are always chirping and signing away. When I cut the grass I found some of the rocks that went flying. Yep could of been dangerous. I will stick to the right size rocks from now on ! I think some of the slices are in the tumbler now. I can't wait to see them all done. Then I will make some pendants out of them :) Thanks much for watching 😊
Great cutting can't wait to see finished product. Yes I loose a few time to time but never sent any flyers. The flyers come off the flat lap and cab machine.
I got some in the tumbler and hoping for the best. Yes I had a couple flyers. I will admit it shocked me. I was cutting for a hour and my fingers were going numb, lol Maybe I wasn't holding on to the rocks as tight as I thought I was. Lesson learned for sure. Thanks much for watching 😊
I am in the process of learning about tumbling rocks. Won't get to hunt this week. I got over 3 inches of rain last night here in Mississippi. Thanks for the video. ❤

I didn't even notice it was you at first butt the thumbnail for the video caught my eye and then noticed it was you and thought to myself I'm going to have to make a video. I've been carrying the striped rock around since the 80s and just this past summer I break it out and cut it in half. So yeah I'll make a short with it and mention you in the comments. I'm actually editing a video right now from the three of us going out over the weekend so I have to watch this here in a little while but I just had to get on here and at least make a comment about the Rock. So gorgeous pieces there 😍 some nice petrified woods, will make some nice pendants with them. A couple of my favourites are 2:10 beautiful colour, and the gorgeous moss agate 8:03. Can't wait to see them finished
