Did a short rock hunt behind the black rocks in Marquette, Michigan then off to another beach along lake superior in Marquette, Mi. It was a peaceful day due to it being a rainy day, which was great for rock hunting. Found a niece piece of pink kona dolomite that I plan on slabbing and a few partial agates. Not to bad considering it was not a planned rock hunt but rather a day for my granddaughter to go to a appointment up this way. Even with the rain off and on I still made some time to explore around Marquette with my Granddaughter and do some rock hunting after her appiontment.

It's a nice trip. I liked the second beach very much, it reminded me of the beaches I used to enjoy. The colors of Dolomite are very successful. I think the pink one is quartz agate. Beautiful finds.💗

Love all those colors!! I went hunting for about an hour today. Found a few Crowleys and a Missouri agate. Real feel temp at 104 today. Thanks for the trip. ❤
Oh my 104F that is hot. We have never got that hot in Michigan. Close to 100F only one time that I can remember. Stay cool the best you can. Thanks for watching😊

Such a pretty place to do some rock hunting. Guess that wasn't proving to be a great place after all. Didn't seem you stayed too long. Does look like it could rain. Wonder why the peeps are building a teepee. 04:35 is a very cool one. Loving the veins in it. LOL that giant rock in your little pale. Oh I'm guessing you're going to cut that one up. Love your comparison to a water spot on wooden table. Haha you just couldn't help yourself and had to take that one too. You crack me up. You got some nice finds.
I had fun even with the rain. Those kids will sleep in that teepee on the beach :) I really wasn't finding much at the first place. I really wanted to sit and go through the rocks but they were all wet and the so was the sand. I had pants on and I am sure it would of looked like I wet myself when I walked back to the car, lol When I am leaving I have to look straight ahead and not down, or I will never leave, lol Darn addicting rocks🤣

Where are the black rocks?
The first beach in the video is right next to what the locals call "the black rocks" 90% of this video was at the second beach. But you can find black rocks with white veins in them when at the 'black rocks'😊
My grandson and myself will be heading to Marquette one of these days, some of those colorful stones definitely have agate in them! I found one big one that's questionable! It's a wonderful place and I'm going back after a good storm! Those are some very colorful stones CCC! 😊
