Even Boris Johnson, who so strongly supported Ukraine in public refused to put sanctions on his KGB mate who’s son he has made a Lord and who was one of the 4-6 people in the room when Johnson decided to support Brexit. Which was purely for ambition - he was shocked when it won (with a little help from his Russian pals). So it’s going to be a while (if at all) before the UK is a valuable, strong member of the Western coalition in anything but words, although that is important too. Remember, if current trends continue, Poland will be a larger economy than the UK in a few years and when it comes to the army and airforce (put the Royal Navy to one side) Poland is already a stronger military power.

You have to be careful with these statistics that show aid given/allocated. especially when talking about Europe. Some will include ALL of the countries in Europe, some just the EU. Also with the US, don't forget that much of their "aid" is actually money allocated for spending in the US, on equipment for the US, and a lot of the rest is loans. The word AID itself is misused. Ideally it should not be used for everything the way it is.
