      It saddens me. I know they have a mindset that's been programmed into them for centuries that we will never fully understand. But growing up by the Mississippi and Missouri rivers I know the damage water can do, I know the deaths it causes. Even when the creeks and streams flash they cause so much destruction. To not think or care about their own people even a little is just sick. Arresting a old man for speaking truth is also just sick. But often it's the old that can show the most bravery.

      @@barefootbreezy6983 Reasons for you: 1) The F-35 is not as stealthy (i.e. F-22 is too good to let other people have). 2) The F-35 is better suited to integration with other airplanes and military forces due to its computers. 3) There is a literal law preventing the sale of F-22, only congress can create laws, therefore the military didn't have any real say here (the military can only offer its opinion). 4) Manufacturing, F-22 was a pretty limited run, so to sell it to other countries would have required opening up more lines or delaying things to an unacceptable level. While the F-35 has always been meant to be a large run, with foreign sales being part of it from the getgo (The US was not the only country to fund its development).
      There are a ton of reasons, but the basic idea is "F-35 is better than F-22 overall". (It might not be as good at dogfighting and stealth, but it more than makes up for those *perceived* flaws. Emphasis on perceived.)

      Gas prices today in the USA are roughly equal to what they were in about 1983, as a percentage of average personal income per year. In 1983, average individual annual income was between $11K and $12K, and gas was about $1.30. Today, average individual annual income in the USA is something around the mid upper $40Ks and gas is from $3.50 to $4.30. I pay around the higher number, but got my car cheap because I don't buy new cars and never would (and it's a gorgeous luxury model, huge, from 1972 with only 43K miles on it, so in perfect condition), so that amount is no big deal. But it isn't "high", it's about what it was FORTY YEARS AGO here in the USA.

Your point of view and analysis on what’s happening in Russia and Ukraine helps me better understand what life in Russia is really like. So far it’s close to what I assumed. Places like Moscow and St. Petersburg is full of people that have money but being such a big country and decent population, the majority of Russia citizens literally live in fecal matter. All the corruption, oligarchs etc affected their ability to wage a large scale war that has been stolen by Putin and his friends. Invading neighbours is their way of making more money. Annexing land they can use as a mine for precious metals for example, is what Russia is fighting for. It’s a big mistake as Putin and his friends don’t really know how badly a beating NATO would give them.

    Artur, I am a conservator in a Dutch fortress museum and have a history degree.
    about Chamberlain .. this man was verry intelligent because England was not ready to go to war at the moment when he had the “peace paper” in hand that Hitler signed and bought a full year to change the “normal” economy to a “war” economy. He knew that England has nothing to fight with and Churchill had to bag for weapons by the Americans ,and also the industry in England needed to change and that we all know took some time…and time was what Chamberlain took from Hitler to prepare his country and not immediately run in to a conflict.
    This move from Chamberlain is forgotten in the mist of time and that is sad!
    I like your enthusiastic style and I watch every day your News.
    Erik

    • @justa.american8303
      @justa.american8303 Před 29 dny +1

      Just as today all the public sees is a single surface aspect of Chamberlain's agreement. They don't look at the broader or more in-depth effects of buying time for England to prepare to face Hitler. In that aspect, Chamberlain's move was well executed.

    • @morstyrannis1951
      @morstyrannis1951 Před 29 dny

      I don’t agree. By the time Chamberlain obtained “peace in our time” Hitler had gained so much he considered the UK to be morally bankrupt. Had the west stood up to aggression when it first occurred who knows what history might look like.

It is SO important that you educate your viewers on the CONTEXT of what is going on, and not just the isolated EVENTS, which is what the "mainstream media" does. You can't understand the events withouttheir their context. Berta!

    I know this missile Iran gives to Russia now:
    The missiles Iran provided, the Zolfaghar, is a medium sized short range ballistic missiles. It costs just 160k each with around 700 km or 450 miles range, and the warhead is over 1/2 ton. Something like 590 kg.
    Also in the end stage while approaching the target, the warhead seperates from the over 10 meters long missile, so it's harder to shoot it down. That's a very dangerous weapon, it has 12 - 15 times the punsh of a Shahed drone, and if used against civilian targets, it will do so much harm, and I would expect them to use this missiles against Kiev. 😕
