We would be sending even without the taxes raised by the sale of flowers. In my region we lost a lot of neighbours in the MH-17 murders by Russia. If they left it to our region the Ukrainian armed forces would be getting everything we have in storage plus whatever we can buy elsewhere. Today is exactly 10 years since the referendum in Crimea. Then 93% of the inhabitants of Crimea voted for the return of Crimea to Russia.
Crimea became part of Russia 242 years ago. When there was no USA, no Germany, no Czech Republic, no Slovakia, no Romania, there was no Belgium, no Croatia, no Slovenia, no Finland, and even more so there was no Ukraine...
And all these countries believe that Crimea should not be Russian. It's funny!

Being in a military exercise last week where it was just make belief but still we were cold and wet and tired, thinking about the heroes in Ukraine sitting in the muck in a live situation is unbearable to think about. I hope this is over soon and that the politicians can find their balls and give Ukraine everything they need.

I'm 100% Finnish (born and living in Sweden though) and i'm always proud of the Finns and their very strong military, and the Swedish military is smaller but very well equipped. Estonia and the baltics will not have to fight alone! The whole NATO got your back if the evil empire tries something

As a swede it feels great that Gotland is getting really heavy military reinforced. But I don't know how civilian gotland Islanders feel about the island becoming an even colder cold war place. But it has to be done. Same up here in the north where I live. I live in a military city.

I remember that Boris Yeltsin was once on a visit to America for some reason and he told his driver to pull over suddenly as they were passing an American food store. He ran in and was amazed to see it was well stocked with all kinds of food despite them not being aware that he was going to visit. He could not believe it😅
Yeltsin didn't run anywhere. We know this because he was in no shape to run and he was permanently drunk. The latter is seemingly true. I don't think Yeltsin was in charge, the country was being run by the security service criminals.
