Great work, I’m looking forward to my T shirt bought from your shop
There should be a t-shirt Belgorod People's Republic or Liberate Russia.
I think you can make aT-shirt like it!
Do you ship your merchandise to South Africa? I would LOVE to buy and wear one of your shirts with, with love and pride! 👊😎🔥
What’s been bizarre throughout this whole war is how Russia complains every time Ukraine counter-attacks. It’s a war; your opponent isn’t just going to sit there and take it. In a boxing match, last time I checked, both parties are allowed to throw punches
Bullies never like when their victims fight back.
I suspect that Russia thought the US was so tightly regulating what Ukraine could and couldn't do that they were untouchable. Fail.
They think Russia is special. They demand a 'sphere of influence' for their own security, but when I ask them why does Poland or Latvia not get a sphere they don't answer. They do think anywhere else is a proper country, we just exist for their amusement and convenience.
Russia when they attack Ukraine: hahahaha you deserve this!
Russia when they're attacked by Ukraine: WAAAAAAA HE HIT ME!!!
Ukraine slaps Russia.
Russia: I can’t believe you’ve done this.
Amazing how things went from "Kyiv is nearly encircled" to "Russia is fighting in its own territory" in just about a year
Kyiv is encircled
... Russia can't protect it's border
Moscow is under attack
🤣
@@groot6830 so when are you going to talk about the ukrainian issues
Its also very strange becaus ukraine never counter attacked by vuledar, seems like this channels just made it up
It's not surprising that it happened this way. You would be surprised how many people in history were told that they couldn't win and they ended up winning. Putin was just trying to be the next Stalin, and failed miserably. Now he's running with his tail between his legs like everybody saw coming a mile away.😂
@@kuunoooo7293 why should they have been counter attacking? The russians delivered their vehicles themselves for destruction, Ukrainians just waited and shot. There was no reason to leave such a perfect location.
Artur, it could be because big things are happening with the civil war in Russia picking up momentum, but your videos get more and more interesting every day.
I believe the coloured tape has been there since the start of the war to help more clearly identify who is on who’s side to avoid friendly fire situations. Almost like how people identify their teammates in a paintball match wearing coloured ribbons on their arms. B/c a lot of military groups seem to be using alot of the same camouflage patterns these days (Multicam particularly)
🪖Yeah.. Since Uniforms of BOTH sides are SO similar, as well as bodily characteristics... Tape needed to prevent Blue on Blue actions💙💛

As a Georgian, hearing that my fellow countryman is fighting on the side of Russia, is very disheartening. If only they were as heroic as the Georgians fighting on the front lines to not only free Ukraine, but also Georgia, from the rotting Russian bear. Shame.
I hope Georgia can take back it's territories. Been there once, will keep it in my heart forever. Love from Germany🖤❤💛
Liberate your occupied lands, and then welcome to NATO.
‘Rotting Russian bear.’
That is very poetic, my friend. I extend a huge thanks from the US, to the people of Georgia who are fighting against putler & his thugs. They are a people who think the strong can just take what they want. Well, Ukraine showed them that they can’t just take what they want, at least not without hundreds of thousands of dead & dying ruzzians.
Slava Ukraini 💪🇬🇪🇺🇦💪
I currently live in Georgia and met several who grew up in Russia but moved here bc of the war. Sad that there are some who fight for the russians indeed
There are Americans fighting for the Russians, too. It shames me to see how ignorant my own countrymen can be...
You landed me as a subscriber when you were talking about it being the russian people's responsibility. Thank you for your work.
On the topic of the yellow tape. Speaking from the perspective of someone who has never served in the army, but has played a lot of Arma 3. I think that when the enemies and your allies have similar equipment, then it is massively beneficial to be able to easily identify friendlies. The camouflage pattern still makes it difficult to be spotted at a distance, but when you're close enough to begin laying down accurate fire, the tape makes "blue on blue" incidences much less likely. Which also means one can more confidently engage non friendly forces without having to doubt if they're friendly, thereby reducing the time between spotting the enemy and engaging them.
But what if Russia starts using the yellow tape? You may think it's a friendly then you're dead.
@@jrmckim True, but both sides would then have to effectively communicate to their own troops which ones with yellow tape to shoot, and which to not shoot. And honestly, I have more faith in Ukraine doing so on the spot, than I have in Russia doing it with prep time.
To all those fighting for freedom I wish you success. Never take freedom for granted. Many have given their lives in the pursuit of democracy. Glory to the heroes ❤️🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 Slava Ukraini 🫡

The most important lesson to learn, freedom is never free, it comes at a great cost! Slava Ukraine.
freedom to overthrow the democratically elected president in the capital freedom to bomb the civillians that voted forthat president indescriminately for 8 years freedom to sign but not implement minsk agreements freedom to shut off water power and gas to your own citizens freedom to burn your political opponents in the odessa trade union hall what about freedom to abduct men off the street and pressgang them into the army to go die pointlessly in places like bahkmut
the reality is the ukranians have very little freedoms dying in the war wont make any differance to that basic reality. Although the freedom to persue joining a military alliance aimed at your neighboring country was exorsised by a minority of facists at the expence of all the ppl who did not want ukraine to join nato and who made up the majority polling from the time is on wikipedia along with the freedom to recieve and carry out the wishes of the USA even if that means pulling out of peace talks in turkey that would have allowed a couple generations of ukranian men to live and die free from the horrors of war
definatly on the path to democracy and freedom lets all go die in a pointless power struggle instigated by the USA;s flat out refusal to negotiate on nato expansion FREEEEEEDOOM!!!

The moment US and nato stops supplying depleted ammunition and stop doing money laundering that’s when Ukraine will be free otherwise Ukraine does not exists anymore thanks to the president who can’t not even read a teleprompter.
I really think the other reason Chechens were so feared is that the average person doesn't think about the difference between an army and a "Death squad". They both can kill, but the death squads tend to only fight unarmed enemies. In that case, with all the badass gear and media coverage it's REALLY easy to look like something you aren't.
Freedom for Chechnya
Chechens are not necessarily good fighters, but many are used to brutality. Remember the Boston Marathon bombing? Chechen "refugees" did that.
A good friend of mine, ethnic German from the Altai region got drafted into the Soviet army back in the 80's, he says Chechens were no good, but they would gang up and bully other ethnicities.
Na I think it's there culture hand to hand they have talent.
@@jrgonzales230 they actually run away when fighting anyone who is a peer or greater
The reason Russians fear Chechnyans is they got a brutal reputation in the two wars they fought against the Russian Federation, one they actually won.
Even the Tik Tok general and his father fought against the Russian Federation before swapping sides and turning traitor to the Chechnyan people.
Chechnya is still a powder keg of insurrection that is only stopped from exploding into full scale war by oppressive terror based dictatorship supported by Putin.
As Putin's power and ability to support the murderous Tik Tok dictatorship, Chechnyans will once again fight for independence.
The high vis markings are for main line troops and very important to mitigate friendly fire when lines break in some parts and not others. Small units using guerrilla tactics will of course not have anything high vis. With large assaults the enemy already knows they're there and roughly where they are.
Sucks that it takes a war for people to unite. Thanks Artur, I appreciate your interesting perspective, insight and fundraising. I long for peace! I cant wait to see how you will deal with the war ending and peace! I hope you can continue to entertain and inform us. Please do some vlogs on rebuilding and the Humanitarian work that will happen afterwards.
Because this is the best time to rebel against Putin.
Yeah, it is the best time to rebel, especially if your rebellion is small and not a huge majority of people. Think of Chechnya or even Georgia for example. The Russians were able to send everything thry had militarily to those places because they had no other problems to worry about militarily.
Imagine if Chechnya tried to secede during the Ukraine war instead OR even worse if the Ukraine war happened just before Chechnya tried to secede. It would be a huge distraction, it would simultaneously weaken the Russians on the Ukrainian front and Chechnyan front.
Rebellion while your country is at war abroad is one of the best times to rebel...... unless it is a mass mobilization like ww2 where the entire economy has transitioned to a war economy and your country already has millions and millions of soldiers trained and ready to fight - then rebellion may even be harder unless you have generals and officers becoming a part of the rebellion then it can get very crazy when the military splits into 2. (Kinda like Russia in WW1 I guess.)
Its starts and ends with you sir

5:23 - The armbands are there to quickly identify friendlies and minimize chances of friendly fire. You might think "Well what if russians just wear yellow armbands too?" - in that case they risk to become targets of other russian unit and since it is a fast identification system their "allies" will not hesitate to shoot them on sight. Unless i guess everyone starts wearing same color armbands and now no one can tell who is who unless they are up close.
Reports indicate to counter enemy covertly trying to infiltrate using tape.
The units alternate color selection and tape arrangement at intervals to make imitation difficulty.
I'm surprised it's tape, I thought they would use something like airtaga so all the battle management apps could see you. It's interesting how the least technological solution is the best here.
Even up close can be hard to tell.

Yes sir we planned for a year to invade are peaceful neighbor but dont worry its not a war
You're 100% right about us Americans learning from this war. We're learning right now, which is one of the countless benefits of supporting Ukraine.
Color-coded helmets and bands are essential when everyone wears the same style camouflage, similar helmets, armor, and weapons without force tracking or advanced communications. It's impossible to avoid blue-on-blue contact without something like a visual indicator.
We used the Blue Force Tracking system back during my time in the US military (early 2000s), and I'm sure there is some more advanced version of it now. There was still contact between units, including allied nations. It's a real challenge, so the methods are always advancing.
I believe using the small drones with cameras will help identify enemy units before making contact, as well as if they can watch and communicate positions to the ground units.
Great videos and commentary as always.
Well, they used to bring huge flags to the battlefield for a reason.
@@rippspeck Yup, it was the internationally recognized sign of "fire cannons here!"
The bright tape isn't really anything new. It's always been a good idea to make it easy as hell for someone to identify who they're looking at. Since the equipment is so similar in this conflict, it makes even more sense. The US military uses reflective belts all the time, both in garrison and in deployed environments.
But Shoigu said all of them were destroyed last time. Clearly, we're all hallucinating.
Well, u still don't get how RUSSIA fool the world😂 specifically its own people

Artur,
I happy that the Russian freedom groups are having such a great success in raids and are getting more people to join their efforts. I would just caution them about FSB agents and other Russians that would want to harm the freedom fighters from within
ROFL that you would think actual Russian citizens, who have lived their whole lives with the FSB, would not think of that for themselves.
Absurd that these gallant and courageous fighters would fear the Russian FSB when they have violated every Russian force and boundary set before them. Their capture of Russian positions, towns and armor demonstrate their ability to sweep the opposition to the side. Glory to God, to Ukraine, and to the New Russian Revolution!
So good to see more Russian solders joining Russian Freedom troops

IMHO, weapons have become so deadly ineffective that it is far more important to identify yourself as Friend or Foe then to attempt to hide using camouflage. With night-vision, AR AI identification of targets, camouflage has become greatly less effective. So it's far more important to make sure your own team knows who you are so you don't get fragged. in the 1980s the USAF had maintenance shops in a box, to move the maintenance shops to the front lines. These are Civilian truck trailer mobile maintenance and supply capability. Load on C-141 Tupolev, or other large airlift and take them to Poland. then it is a one day drive to the airbase of choice
My understanding is that the tape is used to prevent friendly fire accidents. The tape color is changed over time. Green and yellow is the most common colors. Thanks for another great video.
Yeah not getting shot by a friendly is more important than camo that doesn't really work anyway.
I believe it’s also used to signify different types of units as well
@@Stephen85 camo _does_ work to a degree… the point is break up the easily-recognizable shape of the human body and make it harder to spot at distance
obviously the tape takes away from that a little bit, but that downside is well worth it if it means preventing friendly fire
Camo works VERY well. Many times I’ve had people walk within meters of me without noticing. All depends on your camo pattern and local environment and positioning. However, when both armies engaged in a war are using very similar gear and uniforms, you have to have some sort of legal identification as a combatant so you are clear what side you’re on. This is easier when two sides have different gear and kit, not so easy when both sides use the same stuff. White stripes tend to be Russian, yellow/green are ukranian. Legally, they have to identify themselves if they aren’t wearing standard kit, which many ukranians are wearing a mishmatch of gear
@@DanSoloha yeah I hunt so I know how it works, I just worded that incorrectly. It's just not effective in the way people might think. When you are fighting a running gun battle you aren't hiding in a bush.

You are doing a great job, and I don’t want to seem a mister know-it-all but I was a news-director for over 25 years and we found out that viewers will and do switch if the video becomes ‘staccato’.
