I am native Texan and almost entirely conservative leaning.
I feel confident in saying that VERY few Texans are/were aware of the existence of Russell "Texas" Bentley. But I and the vast majority of Texans are fully embarrassed that this clown was born here AND used the name of our state as a nickname.
Most Texans vote Republican/conservative, but I can tell you that very very few people that I've spoken to about the Ukraine/Russia situation are NOT in full support of helping Ukraine.
I shake my head in disbelief that any American would side with Pootin in this war. I've yet to see any politician, including Trump, voice a legitimate reason as to why we should not help Ukraine defeat Russia.
Then you need to go watch Trump's town hall hosted by CNN. He clearly stated what he would do. People like yourself just choose to keep your head in the sand.
Trump will stop all aid to Ukraine if he is elected.

“A team of researchers at the University of Adelaide have found that as many as 80 percent of tweets about the 2022 Russia-Ukraine invasion in its early weeks were part of a covert propaganda campaign originating from automated fake ‘bot’ accounts.
An anti-Russia propaganda campaign originating from a ‘bot army’ of fake automated Twitter accounts flooded the internet at the start of the war. The research shows of the more than 5-million tweets studied, 90.2 percent of all tweets (both bot and non-bot) came from accounts that were pro-Ukraine, with fewer than 7 percent of the accounts being classed as pro-Russian.
The university researchers also found these automated tweets had been purposely used to drive up fear amongst people targeted by them, boosting a high level of statistically measurable ‘angst’ in the online discourse.
The research team analysed a massively unprecedented 5,203,746 tweets, sent with key hashtags, in the first two weeks of the Russian invasion of Ukraine from 24 February this year. The researchers considered predominately English-language accounts, with a calculated 1.8-million unique Twitter accounts in the dataset posting at least one English-language tweet.
The results were published in August in a research paper, titled “#IStandWithPutin versus #IStandWithUkraine: The interaction of bots and humans in discussion of the Russia/Ukraine war“, by the University of Adelaide’s School of Mathematical Science.
The size of the sample under study, of over 5-million tweets, dwarfs other recent studies of covert propaganda in social media surrounding the Ukraine war.
The little-reported Stanford University/Graphika research on Western disinformation, analysed by Declassified Australia in September, examined just under 300,000 tweets from 146 Twitter accounts. The Meta/Facebook research on Russian disinformation reported widely by mainstream media, including the ABC a fortnight later, looked at 1,600 Facebook accounts.
Reports on the new research have appeared in a few independent media sites, and in Russia’s RT, but not much else, so revealing the burial of stories that don’t fit the desired pro-Western narrative.
This ground-breaking study, exposing a massive anti-Russia social media disinformation campaign, has been effectively ignored by the mainstream Western establishment media. It’s become almost routine during the Russia-Ukraine war.” - Peter Cronau, Declassified Australia, November 3, 2022

I believe that Jake Broe said in his last video that the US weapons are in Europe and once the aid is signed into law, it will be sent to Ukraine, possible from Poland.
You are correct. US Arms are just next door in Poland. Also, the 100+ yo old ship. Jake pointed out that this ship was the only one in Russian inventory that could be used to move disabled subs. That is why it has been in service to this day. It is a key asset, so I am happy it is disabled now.

The replacement amount is to replenish weapons given to Ukraine the other amount is to purchase brand new weapons for Ukraine. Both are headed to Ukraine - just a note. And I don't consider Ukraine's border to be "our border" that sounds a little too imperial for me to be comfortable with LOL but I recognize a lot of values in Ukraine that I support. Zelensky won my respect when he said "I don't need a ride, I need ammunition". That is some "give me liberty or give me death" stone cold, eagle screaming, freedom talk and I love it. The Ukrainian people have a right to exist and to self determination. I need no other reason than that to support them.

Technically the oldest active naval ship is the USS Constitution, in Boston Harbor. It was built in 1797.
If we're talking museum ships that are still commissioned in their navy, @protorhinocerator142 you need to consider HMS Victory in Portsmouth. Built in 1765.

I read somewhere, that the Pentagon has moved many of the required weapons to Poland. In preparation for the vote being a yes. So it may be quicker than you say for Ukraine getting some new weapons.

I think Iran is playing its own game, Iran considers Russia itself to be dangerous, but it is currently taking advantage of the age in the world for its dangerous games. In the end, all four of them are concerned with their own survival because they know that dictatorships can disappear overnight.

Much of the aid is already sitting in Poland ready for transport. It wont take 4+ weeks to get to Ukraine once the President has signed off on it. Could be getting into Ukrainian hands by the end of the week depending on logistics inside Ukraine.

There was another bill passed to transfer $8 BILLION of seized Russian funds to Ukraine. The Ukraine can uses those funds to develop their own defense innovations. Given the cheaper cost of doing things in Ukraine, that $8 billion in USD probably has a real value of $16B in real terms.

Pentagon has said the bulk of the package the is from army stock has already on the ground and ready in Europe. I have also been told the Senate will vote as soon as they get back Tuesday. The Senate wants to get it on Bidens desk Tuesday, but be Wednesday likely. Pentagon has a plan to start shipping within days.

This money is coming out of an already existing defense budget. The only way the people see this money again is if its used to build more munitions. Its also an investment. When Ukraine rebuilds who do you think will be at the head of the line for those mega project contracts? And we get the added benefit of doing the right thing. 💞 Go get em, Ukraine! 💪💙💛
The main project contracts will go to Germany and Poland.

Most european countries are already preparing for rebuild. Ukraine will look completely different and modern 5 years after the war. Historical places will be restored, but everything else will be build brand new and better.
Us.. Congress is the house 435 and Senate 100 senators it passed the house but they changed some stuff so it goes back to senate to be ratified then it goes to presidents desk for signing into law maybe Tuesday night it needs. To clear the Senate
