Looks great! They just need to restock their bucket seats.

They have a few bucket seats now. Although they are compatible with the Prime, strangely, they are not shown as an option on the configurator page for the cockpit on their site. So you need to add the cockpit without a seat and add the bucket seat from the bucket seat page. Unfortunately, all their bucket seats are now only available in pink. Hopefully, the other colours are restocked. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

I keep the racing, even if I know the tack. It helps me cornering on a single monitor since I don't even see my steering wheel.

VIR has a lot of turns that aren’t marked and have a learning curve.

Is it the best wheel out there? No. But as a student with not a lot money this is the best wheel you can get. I don't even care about the McLaren license, but it's great for what you pay. I love mine

On some tracks, the brake markers have difficult-to-read numbers (orange on black) and easy to miss them at high speed.

I just got back into sim racing for the first time in like 3 years just to drive the super formula and I feel like the car just fits me like a glove. Some things I'd like to add that I've discovered driving the SF in the past few weeks have been : 1) as a former ACC player/porsche main, I found the ideal turn in points in this car to be MUCH later than I naturally do. When I compare my telemetry to the top times, a consistent pattern I'm noticing is that they all turn in later and use more steering than I do. This might help you find a ton of time if your habit is to make V shaped lines. 2) Tire temps are everything. Your braking points will get later and later over after 5-10 laps, sometimes longer if the track is really cold. I find 130-150F is around the sweetspot for maximum grip, and you may go from braking at ~120M like you do in this video on your first lap to at or even past the 100M board when your tires are really up to temp. 3) Already kinda alluded to this in the first point, but you can really abuse the front tires in the fixed race. I haven't tried it in open, but if you're maximizing the front tires it might feel like you're murdering them, but they will last the whole race pretty easily. And from what I'm seeing, the fastest SF drivers are not being gentle on their fronts lol

So I’m going to get myself a sim rig this year. This one looks ok and in my budget. For now I’ll be playing on ps5/pro (when releases). Never tried any rig or steering wheel for that matter. Have couple of questions: - Im thinking of 15nm that will last me for coming years when I possibly progress to PC sim games (hear that is enough for most mortals) - will it particularly matter which brand I should go with and what type of wheel should I get, it will mainly be gt7 with bit of ea wrc and maybe f1 - for the seat i need most possible comfort - so I dont think I’ll be needing a bucket seat which I presume is only for show/immersion rather anything else - how do I chose the right seat for me size and comfort wise - what would be preferred screen for a sim rig powered by ps5 (flat/curved/big/small?) thanks!

software is shxt uter shxt. Better iracing lfe or simhub. first of all the FX is delayed the second thing you can't adjust threshold for example like you can in simhub . What of use effect like wheel spin if it will work even with all small spins ? then at the end you will have mess not feedback 😂

Got mine a month ago. It's a beautiful wheel, and for being one of fanatecs cheap options, it's well built and has quite a lot.

I have the G923 pedals with a TrueBrake mod using the green spring (medium). I also have carbon fiber pedal faces. Since installing the Truebrake, my lap times have come down because I can brake later and with more confidence. I plan to get the Logitech G Pro wheel but I'm keeping the g923 pedals.

It will come back with it. Unlike famstec simucube tells you its normal so does simagic all servo motores make a very slight effect like this if you pay attention you can hear it in them now. Just saying tons of the same conplaints from other brands but the respinse is much better ststing its fine simucube wont even do an rma on it. So letting you know rxpect that noise again especially when the full force will be using frequencies to actually make you feel them. My alpha has the same sound near the colar. Yes its norma and simucube is actually louder when in motion then most. My simagic alpha does it just sitting there. So dont be surprised when you get it snd it comes back. Fanatec just wont be honest like simagic and simucube are. They tell you it makes noise dont worry sbout it. Fanatec likes saving face acting like it isnt normal when it is. Ive owned 4 dd wheelbases and all have had some of the srrvo whine especially ones using more copper coils. Its a massive servo trait. If you put your ear next to kost when on you hesr it. Wether its some in motion when turning or some just sitting it will show up at sometime in its life. I know this because i work on servo motors. Next one that shows up just enjoy! I have one it has the whine. The ones that dont end up actually getting it later anyways. Fanatec again saves face they wont state things like other brands do.

Anyone who believes this needs to go watch actual racing onboard. Or even max verstappen sim racing. What he’s saying is not true. The car being smooth and steering inputs being smooth are different.

1st under steering like a mf though. 2nd is giving slights correction to over steer.

Lol cool but little adjustments are def fine. The best races do small adjustments not big. If you sre doing it nice snd smooth with small adjustments at the top then you are good to go.

how can a racer let alone Sim racer not know about race bias , camber , angle , bars , power adjustment ,height , dumper , tension , toe , differential and other things since even arcades have that .

My pedals would be going under my desk and pressed up against my PC on the carpet, and the PC is against a wall. Is that enough resistance to stop the pedals from moving? Or would they still lift up from the front, even if my heels are on the little pad thing below the pedals? Kinda torn on buying this bundle because I don't want to have to mount anything
