This but with VR might be worth it completely. It might be hella expensive, but it's definitely cheaper than racing in real life.
There is a guy in America who does drifting IRL who bought a sim for drifting, he said that to be good at drifting in sim you had to be good at drifting IRL.

I disagree. There's a guy called CarMighty who just recently released a video with the opposite premise.
He started out drifting in BeamNG and then went on to drift IRL with only the sim as his practice
@@Gatitasecsii Uhm I think you might have completely misunderstood what he meant because he is not arguing anything but in fact making the same point as you. He meant a person who does drifting irl understood and could completely get the feel for the sim as its similar to real life so being good at irl drifting makes you good at sim drifting obviously you have to get used to it being virtual and what not but yeah he is not arguing anything xD

But seriously, the reason some weaklings have motion sickness in VR is because the movement they see doesn't correlate with movement in reality. With this, there would be a correlation.

A few questions if I may….
Regarding motion rig, was there correlation between rig shake and on screen visual shake?
And was there any VR rigs available to demo?
Also, Stig got best lap
Just installed a rs mega plus yesterday, will have lots of time to set up but it is amazing and the quality is great and at great price for motion. 😊

I would love to get one but im partially disabled amd the wheelbase is enough for me. I cant handle my body being shifted around like that. It would make me not wsnt to do this anymore because of my hips and back. Some days I still have to use the extra paddles on the mclaren gt3 wheel rim for brake and gas when im having a bad day instead of pedals. So I cant imagine using one of these as a rig haha but man if I could I would! Lol
You may really enjoy the Sim Racing Studio U-Shake 6, haptic feedback pad! no motion, but 6 transducers give you nice feedback, I love mine

Look into haptic systems like buttkickers and other bass shakers. I got 4 Dayton audio bass shakers and a 200w 4 channel amp for about $200. Each shaker simulates the road vibration of each wheel and other effects like engine vibration tire slip and basically anything you can imagine using the free sim hub software. Look it up here on CZcams. They would be perfect for you. It’s almost as good as motion.
Maybe the 'spike' filter needs a bit of a adjustment 🤣
Next, try a rally game. Especially courses with big jumps and see how the motion platform behaves.

Have you recorded this video with Samsung S20 Ultra? You got a lot of focus hunting in the video.
I was using a Sony ZV-E10 and rushing, to be honest! Time was tight and I forgot to lock focus.

Everything cost too much for the good drivers that don't come from wealth! Sim racing was made to be a cheaper way to get into racing and now it cost just as much as racing a real car! So nice how the world treats people unable to 'buy happiness" so great by making even cheap things cost too much! I am a great driver but I was born with spine issues, now that I'm 40 I've lost all hope of ever being a racing driver... I don't enjoy life, I suffer from it!
Trust me, you don't need to spend a great deal to enjoy sim racing to a high level, but there will always be the 'boutique' level stuff for those with the means. Gimme your budget, I'll advise you the best value setup
@@dannyleeracing I have an Xbox and a Logitech wheel and Forza 8. I don't have a income so everything I have was given to me. If something breaks then I don't race until someone helps me get a replacement. With my spine issues I have to tie myself to the chair just to keep from hurting myself while racing. I'd like a full size wheel and a custom seat... but I already looked up the cost and I cried. I'm stuck whit what I have until it breaks.... I'm lucky to have anything. I got hit 2 years ago and never got better. The settlement got me a new/used car but nothing else. My medical bills cleaned me out and it cost more than the settlement paid out. I'm 40 and back living with my mom and dad in the basement... People like me don't get what they want unless someone is kind and helps them get it. Sorry to be such a buzz kill, I don't live well and I get depressed. I'm just a broken man with broken dreams.
These are not cheap things, these are very expensive things. You can get a G920 and a basic wheel stand and seat for less than the cost of that steering wheel without the force feedback base.
