If they are selling the DD2 for €800 and still making a profit, imagine how much they were making when they were selling it for €1500
I suspect its about to be discontinued. Time to clear out the stock.

They might not be making a profit, this may be a case of clearing out the end of the product line before clubsport DD comes in. Either way it's a cracking price
just purchased the dd2 with v3 pedals.. very happy! in the next few days I will take the wheel
I caught the shifter this morning, I just got my CSL gt dd bundle and this is just what i needed.Now i'll try to catch the v3 pedals for the low.
I wonder when the DD3 will be released ? Full Force is Fanatec's next big thing and the DD1 DD2 cant run it so they will be working on there replacements and my guess is they will be like the clubsport bases ( "DD1 XBOX/PC and "DD2" PS5/XBOX/PC + EXTRA TORQUE) Then they will refresh the 8nm range and give them Full Force + Pre installed QR2

Is Fanatec good for a beginner? I have played racing games for years on my Xbox and I play FH5 on PC with a controller. I don’t want a cheap Logitech setup. I plan on having it mounted to a desk so that I can alternate between playing keyboard and mouse to then putting the racing setup on desk. Been looking at the Fanatec ready to race bundles as I do have a budget it mind, max is $1.5k AUD. Just not sure if Monza or other brands are better, I do like Fanatec a lot just by looking at their direct wheel bases and what they offer in terms of wheels and etc. Just plan on using this in my free time so let me know your suggestions!
Fanatec Ready2Race bundles are what I would use as a desktop setup at max. The Podium DD2 & DD1 are both strong simrigs required. Even the ClubSport DD is overkill for a desktop setting.
@@ghhoward thanks your response mate, I’ll probs go for the Ready2Race Mclaren GT3 bundle as the direct drive is good (8nm) with the pedals being good too along with the steering wheel. I’ll just have it desk mounted and then if I need to, I’ll just buy a frame that I can move around when I need to. Thanks again !
BTW if you order the DD2 now it's 672 euro just bought one at that price might be a glitch so might so probability a limited time thing who knows
maybe if you at outside eu, you to still need pay tax so price still jumps back to same

Looks like it's gonna be a daily thing. Weird how the shifter's gone - perhaps someone accidentally put it in the sale pile...
I wonder if the shifter was the wrong day and they pulled it because I can get to it via a google search and it shows as available, but it is the normal price in Australia, and 260 euros on the Europe store. That or the BF allocation is gone, and they are hiding the normal page.

@sebref1983 just got the Fanatec BF email and no mention of a shifter so may have been a mistake and pulled.
Some of the deals are a complete con, for example, if you try to purchase the porche rim there are other components you will need to buy that are necessary to be able use it once you have added said items the prices are exact to the penny. Dirty, Dirty business.
