It was a pain in the ass but finally managed to get a hold on the F1 2021 limited edition.
I got the GT3 and WRC wheel bundle. You make it sound like these wheels are junk and so are the quick releases.
I disagree. Yes they have the clunk but for the pricing it’s a non issue. Not to mention you can always upgrade the releases during check out if you want. I think it’s the best budget bundle.
Especially since none of the others are even budget at all
Watched your video and get your point about the 3 wheel bundle. But I wanted the Porsche GT3 R wheel and McLaren wheel with QR. Together they were only a little cheaper than the 3 wheel bundle with the extra podium hub. Guess time to sell the BMW wheel and podium hub? Haha. F1 2121 wheel was sold out when I saw it, 2020 looks good but so expensive. What did everyone buy?
Anyone who is interested in the "Porsche" RS wheel for drift and rally. I have used this wheel for about a year and its great the rev light is nice in rally dont really notice it hitting my hand. Great wheel all around

Are CSL LC pedals really that bad for the price? With the spring upgrade, the brake is not that stiff. Compare to Moza SR-P pedals you get only 2 pedals for the price of CSL pedals+spring upgrade. I preordered the Moza R9 and wanted to combine it with the CSL pedals, but now I am not sure if it's a good idea... 😀😀 What do you think?
The Moza SR-Ps feel much better to use than CSLs in my opinion - the brake pedal is softer and not as heavy duty, but I found it easier to drive even so - I swapped out my Sprints for the SR-Ps and used them for quite some time in active duty (months) and found them to work great, very likeable for the price - whereas the CSLs felt like a clear downgrade and quite brutalist, not very pleasurable to drive. They're fine if they're all you can get, but I'd pick the SR-P's any day over the CSL's.

As I am miserable old Yorkshire bloke I am obviously careful not to buy things I don't need, and hate all the emails I get from companies trying to part me from my money because something is 20% or 30% off.
Something is only a bargain if you need it and can get a discount on the normal price, otherwise you just spend money on something you either don't want or don't need because it's cheap.
I bought one of this plastic universal hubs when they first came out, and while it works OK I find it terrible for racing so I only use it for ETS2 when I feel like a bit of truck driving. 😂
I took a few hours to sort myself out to go for the Podium DD1 F1 bundle with the 500e discount. Now I regret it. Black Friday sales suck compared to that bundle discount.

If you're on console, no - on PC, yes
Damn, if Fanatec prices are not double the MSRP here in the Philippines I would've consider them as an option. Fanatec products (from an official supplier) here are so overpriced that the only logical solution for DD is Moza and possibly thrustmaster in the future. Since Moza prices here are essentially the same compared to other markets.
I've heard many people are buying all the fanatec stock really quickly and re-selling it due to high demand vs low supply.
If you search ebay and amazon you'll find some Fanatec Products from previous sales being sold at non-sale prices.
@@caaarlos yep, and I live on south east asia so shipping prices from Amazon and ebay could be quite pricey on top of the already pricey MSRP of Fanatec products

I think the Moza SRP's are a very strong alternative and cheaper, but the clutch pedal on them is not as good as the V3s and they're not console compatible, PC only
They have nowt in stock.... no csl wheel bases
Yeah, wheelbases are basically non-existant. The only things left are wheels and pedals. Not much good for people entering the sphere

Anybody catch the 25th aniversery tab where there selling there old belt driven wheel bases for a nice price, the csw 2.5 base for 449.99, csl elite base nd wheel ps4/5 399.99, Xbox version is 349.99.
I couldn't believe it and who knows for how long but I would have probably got a csw 2.5 and inverted v3's for 399 vs the podium f1 bundke I gotcwith v3 pedals. Fantastic deal for 1499, I just was not planning to go this far, I planned on a dd pro but was hard to pass that deal up. Rough math says I would have saved 500ish with either route dd pro or csw 2.5 with v3i pedals nd p1 wheel with qr1 but 8nm vs 20nm seemed like a no Brainerd but I would be lying if I said I didn't have a small amount of buyers remorse lol. This is the most expensive purchase for me aside from my cars nd house. Hard as hell to hit that buy button. Hoping once I have it fully setup that it will be worth ot. Already a huge improvement over my t300 but only got it hooked up last night nd waiting for a bracket to get the anger I want. Not liking the flat wheel lol. For a 1799 wheel normally, they should have included a bracket like the csw 2.5.

Lots of wheels are in stock, it's mainly the wheelbases that are picked clean off the shelves, but they're the bits most people need! As I say, this is a sale of almost everything they still have in stock

Feels that way. I do certainly hope so, it's their game to lose but supply issues have made people look elsewhere
Guessing if they release a new DD it'll be around 14-16nm guessing it be somewhere between 8nm and 20nm.
What's not is that Fanatec has NOTHING in stock. You can't buy things that aren't in stock.
Even if they had everything in stock, today the servers are melting down and I'm guessing no one will be able to order anything XD
btw all the black friday deals they set up are in stock, with exception maybe of some wheels not in stock but I think they have all wheels in stock as well atm. Just wondering when they'll be able to put out the server fires
