@@puzzlemethis. Used to be it was very expensive to run an AC unit. They are made much more efficient now and do NOT cost as much to use. You would love the comfort.

@Rebecca.G Hi again and thanks, Thanks for looking that up. If you get a chance, check out the comments in the part 15 video. In the description I linked to a similar site and in the comments LogicMasterSteve and a couple of other numbers guys tried to work it out. I don't know if we ever did get it figured out because sorting by color or shape makes it a little easier. john

Looking down across the puzzle, it does look really filled in, but there are a lot of white spots yet but they are getting smaller. I am thinking maybe 4 months yet, but I'll probably be wrong, john

@tinag4262 Hi again, yes, I too like seeing the carboards getting cleaned up around the room. I'm not sure what to think about all the green pieces. Mom thinks color/texture, but I'm thinking that sorting them by shape would help. We'll probably do it by color/texture first and then the pieces we can't find we'll have to sort by shape. Yes, I took a motorcycle trip last summer out to Yellowstone National Park and saw a little of the Rockies. Later this month I'll be going to the beach for a week, so I need to work extra on the puzzle to make up for the lost time.😅 john

@nilsp9426 H again, Shawna does choice A. she looks for an empty space and then finds the pieces. That doesn't work for me. I have to look through the cardboards for pieces I think I recognize and then walk around the puzzle trying to place them. I also have spent a long time looking at a cardboard and after a while I start to see details that I hadn't noticed before, and you are right, I can find maybe 50% of them, john

Any plans to do another large puzzle 🧩?

@user-ky9lz7vo9m Hi again, I don't know if we'll do another puzzle after this one. There are some puzzles that would be fun to do, like the 24,000 Life puzzle and the 32,000 Window on New York puzzle. Also there should be some new big puzzles coming out soon. So we'll take a little break and then see what we think. We'll keep this one together for a while and then I'll take it apart in sections that will fit in the box, that way it can be put together quick if I want to or it can be taken all apart and done again. john

@emilwandel hi, I'm not looking forward to the greens but we will soon need to start working on them. It will be nice to fill in some areas that have a lot of green. I am thinking that sorting them by shape might be helpful, john

@Chaskita Hi and thanks for watching, We'll keep it together for a while and then I'll take it apart in sections that will fit in the box or a tub, so that way I can put it together again fast if I want to display it or we can crumble it up and then it can be assembled again. @michaelkucharski4251 That sounds like a good plan. This puzzle being in 6,000 piece sections, is a lot of pieces and does take up a bigger area to work on it. Keep me up to date on how it's going, john

@waynebennett745 Hi again, We have thought about finishing one section, that way we would have the piece pattern for the remaining 41 sections. But Mom and some others go more by colors than by piece shape, and we could sort each thing ( old buildings, new buildings, each color) by shapes and keep them separate that way they could be found either way. We do have the sky mostly done, and the greens I hope will be easier when we get as many other pieces in as possible and have a limited number of empty spots left. Mom has been working on the grid pieces but we still haven't found them all yet, john

@@puzzlemethis. I understand your thinking. My only concern is with a puzzle that size, there are LOTS of places a color might go. For example, you've said in videos that pieces that you thought were 1 location ended up completely different (like was it sand, the pyramids, Building A, Building C, statues, etc.). Hince why I suggested sky (mostly blue) & plants/trees (mostly green) would be easy starting points.

@LogicMasterSteve Hi again and thanks, Yes, I think you are right, so may of the pieces we have left are just generic looking with no way to tell exactly where they will go. The people who have guessed lately do have an advantage. I think your guess is going to be close unless the pieces start going in faster. john

@dlrobling4126 Hi and thanks. The cats name is Trouble. He is a really good cat, he doesn't bother the puzzle at all. I have never seen him on the puzzle table, but he has laid on the carboards that are on the lower tubs and knocked some pieces on the floor but not on purpose, just to get comfortable. There is a place for him to lay by one of the windows, so he usually lays there. john
