    Ideas for additional sorting categories may come once you really dive into assembly. Looks awesome so far! Sorting is the hardest part.

      Hi @Addicted2Puzzles, I spent the last 3 months watching you do the 60,000 piece puzzle. Doing 1,000 pieces a day for 60 days was quite a challenge. I thought at the beginning that your son was right but you proved us both wrong. I didn't know that you had this puzzle, I'll be watching for it. If you find yourself on the other side of the country, stop in, I could use some big puzzle tips. I don't mind people doing puzzles in sections, I just wanted to try it this way and I don't have a time limit and I'll have some help also. I don't know how real youtubers like yourself do it, I'm a nervous wreck every time I'm in front of the camera. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    I myself have just started to upload some small speed puzzling videos - only of 500 piece ones. :-) And I would surely do those gigantic puzzles in their separate bag sections - but probably mixing 2 bags together if the first bag felt fine and I got into a bold mood. :-)

I put all mine on posterboard and glue them with mod podge and it works great as I won't do a puzzle and break it up. So I have many 1000 pc puzzles in a stack in my finished basement. So.e I give away and most I keep or hang up. Lol

    Thank you so much for sharing your puzzle life and experience with us, my friend! I am pretty impressed about your activity. From today on you have one more fan. I'm from Austria and your big table seems very familiar to me. :)) In 2014 I did the 33600 Educa and I had a similar table of a length of 6 metres by 170cms over all the length of my living-room. I created it in upper 85 and lower 85cms to be able to stand and play between them, and to push them together if I needed more space in my room. But I did not dare to mix all bags! :D Your way is incredible! I opened all bags, sorted many days long all the 33600pcs, but I had boxes called like "green - bag 1" and so on. So I could work on all parts together, could let grow the entire puzzle on every place of the whole 6 metres together, but I had not mixed green parts of the different bags. What you are doing here is fantastic, and I wish you all the best and send you all my positive energy to never stop playing on it for too many days in a row, to never lose your goal and your fun on it, and to finish it in the time of your goal. - I created an excel program for my big puzzle experiences, where I can enter day by day my assembled pieces. And this program counts all my assembled pieces, shows me always the percentage I have already mastered, and a projection when I will finish, continuing by this way. If you want, I would feel happy to gift you a copy of my program. I always compare such a big puzzle with my ex-hobby, running marathons. A marathon-racer also wants to know on which km he is running currently on his long way. And it's also positive to know where you are standing on your current long way! What you are doing is a marathon for your mental power. Often we play many hours on such a puzzle, and especially on such big puzzles we see no progress after 8 hours of puzzling. But this program calms you and tells you, that you mastered already (f.ex.) 42% and although you can not see a real progress today after 8 hours on that gigantic table, you mastered only today (f.ex.) great 0.5%... So it is good for your mental power to keep going forward, also on difficult parts you for sure will have to come through. If you want a copy, just tell me here and we will find a way to mail you a copy.
    Good luck and enjoy every single piece! 🧩🧩🧩

      @inti8467, thanks for watching. The 33,600 wildlife puzzle looks hard, all that green color and so many animals. That big table sounds great. We haven't been keeping track of pieces but if we keep plugging away we'll get it done.

      @@puzzlemethis. okay, it was only a suggestion. 😉 I have a little manual piece counter with a ring on it. I am right handed. So I play with my right hand, and that piece counter is on my middle finger in the left hand. And everytime I find a piece, it makes clac-clac-clac… 😁
      Have a lot of fun with your gigantic puzzle! I enjoy watching your videos and progress.

    Glad you have the time to do this. I just think sorting by colors is going to be a lot more work putting things together than if you kept it like the others (Eiffel Tower, London Eye, signs, roads, mountain, taxi cab, etc.).

    good video again :) i dont think i can wait so long between your video updates :O it would be very nice to see a timelapse of the entire thing. i dont know if you have an extra camera that could be set up at the end of the table. when i build my puzzles i always count how many card boards i have left. i sort by shape and colors. and as i go along i free up space on the boards, then i can put more pieces on the same board. it tells me im getting closer to the finish line :) so i would be interested in knowing how many boards you started with and how many you emptied :)

    • @puzzlemethis.
      @puzzlemethis.  Před rokem +1

      @katrinboas, it seems like the videos come around fast for me. I tried a test of a 2 hour time-lapse from as high as I could get at the end of the table but all I could really see were people walking around and looking down at the table, not really any pieces being put together. I started with 90 cardboards that hold between 350 and 400 pieces each, and a few of them I cut in half for smaller things. I cleaned off 3 of them and then sorted out some buildings on them. I do have 3 cardboards empty now, but I would have a few more if I moved some pieces around. I too look forward to empty cardboards.

      @puzzlingin2worlds, Thanks for watching, I have 90 pieces of cardboard, 15X32 inches. Each cardboard holds between 350 and 400 pieces depending on how close I put the pieces.
