Yay! An update! Your videos are so enjoyable ... the strategies, the humor, and, of course, the progress report. Will we get to meet mom, dad, and the wife? That would be awesome. I just recently put together a vintage springbok puzzle (the round "Jelly Beans"). I found it to be much more challenging than I expected ... those odd shapes!!! 🤪
@tinag4262 Hi and thanks for watching. I did introduce Mom and Dad and a few other family members briefly in part 5 and hopefully can get them on camera again sometime. My wife is kinda camera shy so it might be hard to get her on, but I will work on that. This was my first chance to work on a Springbok puzzle and it was definitely different, I noticed that we really had to push the pieces in but when finished we could pick it up without it falling apart.
Glad you had some fun away from home this Summer.😊 The puzzle is looking good!
@LadyMystie Thanks, it is nice to have a break from it once in a while, but even when I'm away I still find myself thinking about what I'm working on and what I should work on next.
Nice update. I can see that there is some progress. It is a fancy idea to park the same shape pieces in the sky in places where their counterpart belongs. I would be afraid at overlooking some. I hope there are not to many. But getting progress int the sky is impressive. I would like to help on the blue mosque. The shape and the color of the roof is just so beautiful. And working on the greens would be nice. I quite enjoy working on shades of green. It always seems boring at first but my nature loving part just starts to marvel at alle the beautiful green tones and relaxes. Keep up the fun with your family.
I bought a nice crystal puzzel it was a lot of fun. Quite expensive though.
@emilwandel Hi yes the blue mosque is a nice shade of blue. The greens will be hard, I think, because there is green all over the puzzle. The sky is harder then I thought it would be so maybe the greens won't be so bad. I have seen crystal puzzles before but have never tried one.

@erickennel9428 Thanks, It is nice to have breaks from the puzzle, but even when I'm away I still find myself thinking about what I need to do next on the puzzle and look forward to getting back to it..
I have been working on the 6000 Piece Puzzle “Entering the Bedroom” it’s been 3 months and it is about half way done. A few times I have walked by and wanted to just tear it apart and put it back in the box. Watching your puzzle expedition gives me that bump to keep going. Thanks.
@user-ky9lz7vo9m Thanks for watching. Nooooooo don't tear it apart. 6000 pieces is a big puzzle and quite a challenge. That's not an easy puzzle with all those animals on it. Every piece that you put together is one piece closer, keep going, you'll get there.
Love watching your progress on this puzzle. I think you will get done on August 17th, 2025. Why that day? Well that's my birthday, turn 50. I don't think it will take you 50 years, or even 2 more years to finish this puzzle. Maybe when you get close to the end your wife can help some and you could introduce her. I love how your family and friends come over to help. With help we all can complete most things in life. Hope your doing well. May we all find what we are looking for, one piece at a time.

I am very blessed with my family and friends, no one goes through anything alone, from serious medical problems to just putting a big puzzle together.

Hi :) I love seeing your updates so much, I'm currently working on the 24000 piece life puzzle and I've mixed all the bags like you did :) I've been looking at the water sections of my puzzle and the thing that helps me the most is the repeating puzzle cut. I refer to that so I know at least what type of puzzle piece im looking for when the pattern is a repeat :) my guess for your completion is 25th December 2024 :)
@georginamaher2450 Thanks so much for watching, I really like the Life puzzle with all the bright colors, hopefully I will get the chance to do it sometime.. @vinciks1 Hi again, we too are looking forward to seeing it finished but are enjoying seeing the different parts come together. After it's finished, I'll miss spending all this time with family.
After finding you last month and watching all your videos in one day, I was so excited for the next update. Your vacation sounded very nice. I brought a puzzle for the first time to our family vacation at the Baltic Sea and we only finished one thousand piece puzzle.
Love that book with all the pages full with details on who worked on the puzzle. And since I want to be in there too; I want to also guess when you will be finished and I think it’s the 5th April 2024.
I just ordered the 60k Dowdle puzzle to Germany. Excited for my first big puzzle but will not be mixing the bags. I wish I had the space you have. Sorry for rambling so much. Thanks for sharing your progress again and happy puzzling.
@tinkerbellarocks Thanks so much for watching. The long comment was great, it is always interesting to hear what people are up to. Family vacations seem like a good time to have a puzzle sitting around. For us, we sit around and talk and if there is a rainy day it gives us something to do. We usually only have one puzzle, but for some reason this year four showed up, and of course then it was a challenge to try to get them all done.
The 60k Dowdle puzzle sounds like quite a project. You have probably already watched it, but Judy from @Addicted2Puzzles did a video series on that puzzle. She did one bag (1,000 pieces) every day. I don't even think I could do a 1,000 piece puzzle in a day but it was fun to watch, and might give you some ideas for doing yours. Keep me updated on your progress.

@IzzaPuzzles Thanks so much for watching, yes, even after 7 months of working on it, it still seems like we have a lot of cardboards left with pieces on them. Hopefully the empty cardboard pile will start getting bigger soon.

I just noticed that you put my guess down with 11/2025. Since most other viewers guessed an exact date, I wanted to add the day - but then I wondered and realized that you have noted the wrong year. :-) My guess was that you will need 22 months (see my comment at your video 5), which is beginning of November 2024, not 2025. If you don't mind, I would now add the exact day to my guess as 11.11.2024, the beginning of the carneval season in Germany and Austria. :-)

Oh no, your video didn't got recommended to me! I'm always so excited about your update videos. Actually, I did not know that you were interested in our best guesses for you finishing that puzzle, so I would like to call the end of february in 2024 my best guess. I really like your videos, please keep us on track!

I am on my 3rd straight 2k puzzle. Had I taken these puzzles and mixed them with 18 more 2k puzzles I would have an endeavor similar to yours. For me that would be a place not mapped out on your shirt. You are a better man than I am John ! P.S. I am on the top of your " guess" list.

@Addicted2Puzzles Hi Judy, thanks, depending on how you fastened it, you may have trouble getting the Life puzzle off of your wall to do it again.😊 That looks like a fun puzzle to do with all the bright colors. I don't think I have ever done a puzzle twice, but I would think it would be easier the second time around, but if I would have done as many puzzles as you have since doing that one the first time, I would have forgotten any tricks by now. @puzzlemethis. oh no! There's no getting that puzzle apart! 😅 Last year, I found the Life puzzle for a really good deal, so I bought a 2nd copy to mix when the time comes! The first time, I did it in sections, so it'll be a completely different experience mixing it! One day, I'll have space to it! ☺️🧩 I don't typically repeat puzzles either, but Life, I sure would! 😀 Have fun puzzling!

@rosa733 Hi, yes , I have done/helped on some 1,000 or 2,000 piece puzzles, but this is the first big one. There is quite a learning curve, but it is a lot of fun.
so glad to see another update.... for me it looks sooooo over whelming.... ...glad you got a vacation, your shirt joke was funny....I am glad to get to go on this journey with you!!! since you didnt puzzle much before what made you start this huge puzzle?? I will throw a completion guess out there...lets try March 15th ... 2025... May you find many pieces, till next time....
@kathylynn1375 Hi and thanks, Mom and Dad did puzzles when my sister and I were younger and for Christmas I would look for the hardest puzzle I could find. There was no internet back then so my selection was limited to what they had at the mall, usually a book store like Walden books or even Spencer's Gifts would have puzzles around the holidays. Skip ahead to around 2015 or so and after the beach vacation one year I wondered how big of a puzzle was available so I looked on CZcams and a girl was doing the 33,600 piece Wildlife puzzle, and to make a long story a little shorter, I was so unimpressed with her that I didn't watch another puzzle video or really think much about puzzles until a couple of years ago when I just happened to watch a @KarenPuzzles video and got interested in puzzles again. And then I watched @Addicted2Puzzles and @Vickymakesandbuilds and I wanted a challenge and to do something that not everyone else was doing and I liked the image on this puzzle and that's how I ended up here. So actually its all Karen, Judy and Vicky's fault. Just kidding, this has been so much fun, I'm glad that I did it, and it is a good excuse to get family and friends together. I will enter your completion guess in the book.

Good Morning.. love your story..and Oh Yes you sure did pick a challenge!!!! its fun for us to watch since most of us would never attempt what you are doing....yes there are lots of good puzzle you tube channels now.. I have mentioned you on several, especially if someone is doing a large piece like you, I tell them of a brave man named John who mixed all the pieces together...I like you don't think they are really doing a 42000 piece if they do it a bag at a time, but I do understand the space restrictions. I remember as a kid my dads friends giving me a quarter to see how fast I could do a puzzle...then did them on and off over the years, then maybe 2 years ago the bug bit me again, I do think people like you keep our interest going , so I thank you!!! That is so nice that your family joins in, mine just yawn at the mention of puzzles... Im sure Karen is at fault for a lot of puzzling... I also like The Puzzled Mandy.. she is funny... thank you for your reply.... and like you now Im going to go puzzle!!!!
