Goodness knows how i’m only just discovering your videos on this, John! Thank you for the mentions, in this video and in the last!
I just finished part 4 of Wildlife, but you can be sure that when I put it together with the other three, I will be looking very closely for anything that looks “suspiciously like Elton John”!! 😂 That cracked me up.
I love that you have mixed this, and I know exactly what you mean about large puzzles built in sections aren’t really 42k, 40k, 24k etc. puzzles. I’m working my way up gradually to the higher numbers, 9k is my most so far and next I plan to mix one of the Clementoni 13.2k puzzles, after that an 18k Ravensburger. I live in a 3 bed flat though and would struggle to mix anything much larger than that - like you though, if I had the space, I would give it a good go! You are doing an amazing job on this and I think it’s great that it’s a project you are working on with your family.
Great videos, you’re fun to watch 😃
@Vickymakesandbuilds Hi Vicky, you're welcome and thanks for being one of the real puzzling youtubers to inspire me (and I'm sure others) to take on trying something like this. I Loved your video of mixing bags 2 and 3 and your feelings before mixing it, I know exactly how you felt, once they are mixed, there's no going back. I probably should have started with a smaller puzzle to get experience with bigger puzzles but I really liked the picture on this and that's how I ended up with this one. DonnaLouise from @fortheloveofpuzzles said that you used the word "crumbly" when describing the Educa puzzles and we use that word a lot when we have to move pieces around. I'm looking forward to more of your Wildlife videos
if possible can we meet everyone working on the puzzle.... .............. what a daunting project......good luck to all...we enjoy the rambling.....
@kathylynn1375, That's a good idea. the next time that there is a group of us puzzling I'll get everyone on video.
Making good progress. Well done. A family bonding project.
@PuzzleWacko . Hi, thanks, family and friends helping really makes a big difference and make time go by faster.
Thank you John
@tainaravenanciodesouza4149 Hi, you are very welcome.
Wow! You're doing amazing John! I love the teamwork involved in this mega build! Looking forward to the next update! Oh and I definitely saw a face and it really did look like Elton John! 😂 I love it! Happy Puzzling! 🧩☺️
@Addicted2Puzzles, thanks Judy, I'm glad that you saw the face, Mom doesn't see it and I thought maybe I was the only one.
@@puzzlemethis. I see it too. 😀
It must be fun when you can all work on it together. A puzzle party! Amazing progress. 😀😀😀
@twilite4321,thanks, it is fun to work on it alone with music playing, but you're right, it is more fun with a group of friends or family
Binge watching through the series. So far I love it. I love the explanations. Now with you showing the modern buildings and signs I actually can begin to grasp how big this puzzle really is. Crazy (in a good way). Greetings from Berlin. Can’t wait to see the Brandenburg gate and also saw the sign for Potsdamer Platz. 😅
@tinkerbellarocks Hi, I cant believe you are binge watching and are still awake after 4 videos!!! Greetings from Pennsylvania. We have about half of the Potsdamer Platz sign together , but it
might take us awhile to get to the Brandenburg Gate.
Thank you. Its very interesting for me to see your progress each month. Uk
@elaineellis3780, thanks for watching.
SO happy for an update and yes!!! you are doing a 42000 piece puzzle not lots of 2000 ones... my hat goes off to you.....this is such a fun project for the whole family.....good luck to you.... I have never done larger than 1000 ..... I hope it does not get to hot up there this summer..... looking forward to the next update..... just drop in to hi..... I enjoy your mission....
@kathylynn1375 Thanks for watching, I may have to put an air conditioner up there for summer time.
Going very well! 😊
@LadyMystie, thanks for watching.
Great job for mixing them all together. AWESOME team work.
@jeancarroccino8574, thanks and thanks for watching
Good work
@nadinescott6842 Hi and thanks
Hello from Dublin,Ireland. Great job love seeing your updates, say hello to your Mam and Dad fantastic family fun!
@thegoodchicken1078, hi from Pennsylvania, thanks for watching and Mom and Dad usually read the comments so they will read your message and I will make sure they see it.
Hello John. I'm so happy to see all the progress and how you and your family come and spend time together. You all are doing a great, great job. I'm excited for the next part. :)
@vinciks1, Hi again and thanks so much for watching
Great progress, John! I can't wait for the next update :) thanks for sharing your journey with us!
@TheHungryBookster, thanks for watching, the updates come around fast for me.
It’s coming along really well John. Very impressive. I love how you have got the family all helping. I really enjoy your videos ( I don’t think you ramble 😂). Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next update. 😊
@louisescheider7151, thank you for following along. Its fun to have family hanging around.
Oh man you're crazy taking on that puzzle. I just started doing them about a year ago at 61 yrs old and it takes me about ten days to do a 1000 PC one.
I would never even get as far as you have without losing my mind.
Good look to you and I'll look forward to you future videos.
@rickvaiBBB, thanks for watching, I turned 60 last November and needed something to keep me busy, and I sure found it. I think 10 days is good for a 1000 piece puzzle, some of the real puzzlers on CZcams do a 1000 piece puzzle in an afternoon and I could never do that. Having people help is a blessing and posting a video once a month helps keep me motivated.
Great progress!
@inge6280, thanks for watching, we are slowly getting there.
A very entertaining update - as always! Everything on this project is beyond imagination. This time you got me with the number 34.
34 hours on average (!!) of puzzling each week over a longer time span is impressive.
But: Don't shy away of taking a full week off (or even longer), if you should ever feel the urge to! No need to set any records. :-)
@logic_master_steve, thanks and yes, you are right, some weeks are more and some less. There are days that I don't puzzle and there will be weeks of vacation this summer that will give me some time off.
Great progress! I look forward to your updates. Cool to learn of the artist name and likeness in the puzzle.
@janspearman9310, thanks for watching.
I enjoy your videos on this puzzle! I also slide my finished sections off my foam boards onto my main board same as you.
@victoriapaine8831, thanks for watching, it took me a few rebuilds to figure that out.
good luck building this awesome puzzle fam !
@AlexPopa1999, thanks and thanks for watching
A hint: At 18:33 the sign that says "Kármán ut" will go in the European part. That street is in Budapest, only a block or so away from the Western Railway Station (designed by Eiffel Company).
Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to the monthly updates.
@jlu3ai, thanks for watching, and I will put it in the European section
Greetings from Delaware. I know the feeling. You should get a little electric heater for up there......lol
@jeancarroccino8574, thanks for watching, I have an electric heater that I plug into the solar panels and that works ok if it's not too cold and a kerosene heater that does a great job when it's colder but kerosene has been $6.99 a gallon lately so that gets expensive.
Great job on your puzzle so far and their is no way I could mix all of those bags of puzzles will drive me crazy trying to figure out we’re all the ends pieces are
@AmberRaymond, thanks for watching, yes, we just keep putting pieces together, hopefully it will be finished before we do go crazy.
@@puzzlemethis. you’re welcome
So you got the borders figured out, I suppose. Greetings from Finland!
@justy303 Greetings from Pennsylvania, we only have one little part of the border in the sky that doesn't fit right yet.
It looks like David Bowie.
