Do you find higher reps work better on bent rows to prevent lower back fatigue?
Yes, imo lighter weights tend to place less demand on stabiliser muscle groups with most exercises.
10/10 great content
Solid content solid approach this is the way. Thanks for sharing the journey with us. Subbed.
Do you think doing weighted push ups on bars vs a box is better for wrists? I’m not sure whether to get parellettes or boxes to do deficit weighted push ups ?
For wrist comfort, bars 100%. The only consideration is making sure the parallettes are sturdy, I'd opt for the ones that have a bar joining them together.
Wow this is creative
Hi ! I'm French and I follow you because I train at home too! and you give a lot of tips with accessories and your machines to do new exercises, congratulations for your channel. I would like to know the dip bars you use on which site you bought them? THANKS !

Great video I have the powertech , but deliberated before buying it, as ATX appears to be better engineered but read some reviews that said some exercises are more difficult on ATX. Fortunately, I have a garden room which allows me me to have a functional trainer also. However, home gym owners can fill any amount of space. At the end of the day, less is more 😀
Am I the only one who can’t find where to buy this harness? Lol
Enter "Petzl Voltige Chest Harness" into Google. It's a rock climbing harness.
Hey man, could you make a minimalistic bodybuilding program for us beginners/intermediates?
Good training sesh mate. I've got a question, do you ever build in variations of an OHP into your training?
Not really, I used to, but I have better shoulder development now from emphasising side/rear delt raises.
@@Bullseye_Strength fair enough, thank you for the answer! Greetings from Germany
first time I hear about a plethora of evidence for lighter loads to failure. Don't they add unneccessary fatigue?
They can be, it depends on the exercise. With standing overhead press variations, lighter weight/higher reps are less systemically fatiguing. With squats & deadlifts, it's the opposite.
My understanding of the “light vs heavy loads taken to failure produce equal gains in muscle hypertrophy”, is that it’s been shown to be true on a set-matched basis among beginner trainers. That means training progression isn’t an issue, since their baseline is no training. If mechanical tension is the primary driver of hypertrophy, it means an advanced trainee like you would be lowering your tension levels by using lighter weights, since you’ve adapted to progressively higher muscle tension over time - the adaption to that stimulus being muscle gain. I’ve certainly found that I lose size moving from say, weighted chins with 25kg for sets to failure, to bw sets to failure. It wouldn’t make a difference for a beginner, but it’s a lower stimulus if you’ve adapted to more mechanics tension. Bloody nora - hope that makes sense.
it will be interesting to see your updates on high rep training. i have a hard time saying focused during a set if it goes on too long. right now ive been keeping reps around 6-10 but doing 1 second on the concentric and 3 seconds on the eccentric
Always nice to see a new vid of you. I see you have been experimenting a bit with training splits right, upper/lower, then one excercise a day w multiple sets
Thanks & yeah I tend to change things up every few months, just to experiment with volume, frequency, load management etc.
Are the push up wedges just for wrist comfort?
Yes, they allow my wrist to be a little more neutral. when doing close-grip push-ups.
Hello, is there a reason you'd rather use the climbing sling, than the weight loading pin?
I just tried it out & liked the feel.
Show all the exercises 🙏🏻
what kind of cardio work do you do?
Walking & cycling.
Nice split. Will rear delts be hit?
Yes, along with my back training.
Hi, I remember you used to workout with the levergym, and now I can see that you completely changed your routine into calisthenics. May I ask you why you changed your workout routing?
To save space in my garage & I just enjoy calisthenics.
Thank bro, this is very useful knowledge 🙏💪
"The trained fighters would easily beat the people who train for muscle size" well yeah. This is the same argument that really skinny "fighters" use when they compare themselves with natty lifters. Why is "I can beat you in a fight" an argument for not building muscle? Or what exactly is the argument about fighting and muscle? I'm a natty lifter and 50kg teenagers tell me they can beat me up because they train for boxing. Why does this matter?
To my knowledge, Sean Connery & Oliver Reed aren't trained fighters.
It's like a house tree feeding on hormones and a tree in the wild. Well, deep talk as usual and important nutritional information.
"The body fat percentage of a pork snack". Love it! Well said in general. I agree with all of it.
what do you use for your chest straps for weighted pushups, where can i buy it?
It's a climbing harness, the one I'm using is a *Petzl Voltige Chest Harness.*
Sup Bullseye. Do u train flat bench press?
I haven't done any benching in years.
@@Bullseye_Strength Why? I like the deep weighted push up setup you have. I do something similar, but for me nothing feels better than bench.
@@kkndcf I knackered my right shoulder benching years ago, so now I prefer more stable exercises. Plus I get a better ROM & serratus involvement with the deep push-ups.
Hahaha 😆
I think the world needs more empathy, tolerance and love for everybody. The lack of the three makes the world how he is today. I'm not sayong it's a reason to let go of everything or noit doing anything. But if everybody supported each other and understand or differences instead of hating and meanly criticizing others it would be a better place
Real British Man upper body workout.
Do you have a link to the harness?
I don't have a link, but it's called a *Petzl Voltige Chest Harness*
@@Bullseye_Strength I ended up getting a cheap harness from Aliexpress that includes a large carabiner
Relatable. Not your workout btw
How do you make sure to progress overtime without counting reps ? Do you just don’t give a f and train hard ?
Pretty much.
at what amount of weight can weighted push ups be potentially dangerous for your back?’ also do you think the chest harness is safer than the dip belt when going heavy since it sits higher?
I've tried this set-up with over 100kg & it felt OK, (btw, that's about twice as much weight as I would ever need for deep/deficit push-ups). & the chest harness is far easier to set up & takes the lower back out of the equation, it's an exponentially better setup. I have a video comparing both set-ups that you might find interesting: czcams.com/video/N99hfb3-DT0/video.html
@@Bullseye_Strengthhave you ever tried a straight barbell on a power rack instead of using dip bars as handles for weighted push ups?
Moe lester is exactly the kind of the-rapist we need in this world
no way that’s ur real name
What's wrong with it?

i saw that video as well, i think the fats on the panel are doing more harm to society than the fit bros but I do kinda disagree with them about being pro-shaming if youre a fat slob you’re probably not motivated by negative reinforcement imo ultimately its on you if youre disgusting but piling on insults probably doesnt reduce the number of fats
😂😂😂 that smoking part was great. Agree with you on the rest, from a fellow young-frenchman 🇫🇷😎🤝😎🇬🇧

hey powertec leg extension is good for 6.2 tall guy?
I do this exact exercise and weight but I never have pants on while doing it. It seems more natural
Thank you for the idea. I was looking for something to replace bench in my home gym. I had also tried using my cable column and attaching the cable to my chest harness but the feel with free weight is much better. One extra tip is I also use thick rubber grips around the dip handles for extra wrist protection.
Haha technogym is trash for the most part but I was forced to use their machines on a cruise I recently took 😂
Terrible kit, the seated hamstring curl always feels like it's gonna snap my shin like a Kit Kat.
@@Bullseye_Strength yup their shoulder and chest press resistance profiles are horrible as are a lot of their arm machines and functional trainers. The only good one I found was their traditional pin selected cable lat pulldown machine which can serve as a pullover and tricep push down. Their smith machine is ok too lol
you are the same guy who gives voice over in Hulk motivation channel 😊
Afraid not.
Hello sir, can you please share a video on how you setup the climbing harness to use it for your weighted pushups? thanks!

@@Bullseye_Strength Thanks!
3:35 best part! Haha
how would you say pull ups on that setup you have compare to ring pull ups
Pretty much the same.
Thanks for showing me that this machine wobbles like crazy... you have convinced me not to buy a POWERTEC brand.. instead I will go for Titan or better yet Body solid..
Glad I could help.
