    Hello, is there a reason you'd rather use the climbing sling, than the weight loading pin?

    at what amount of weight can weighted push ups be potentially dangerous for your back?’
    also do you think the chest harness is safer than the dip belt when going heavy since it sits higher?

    • @Bullseye_Strength
      @Bullseye_Strength  Před měsícem

      I've tried this set-up with over 100kg & it felt OK, (btw, that's about twice as much weight as I would ever need for deep/deficit push-ups).
      & the chest harness is far easier to set up & takes the lower back out of the equation, it's an exponentially better setup.
      I have a video comparing both set-ups that you might find interesting: czcams.com/video/N99hfb3-DT0/video.html

      @@Bullseye_Strengthhave you ever tried a straight barbell on a power rack instead of using dip bars as handles for weighted push ups?

    this is a cool setup, what exercises do you do when you travel?

      If I'm away I just use standard gym kit, I favour machines on most exercises.

      @@Bullseye_Strengthdo you have a video showing how to bet into the starting position using this setup? and at the bottom portion of the rep are the weights touching the floor or are they still suspended?

      @@outtrigger I've linked a video at the end of this one called "BEST Weighted Push-Ups Setup: Bullseye Strength vs Fitness FAQs" & no the weights don't touch the floor.

    How does this set up compare to a sturdy army backpack filled with plates if you ever tried the latter primitive method ?

    • @Bullseye_Strength
      @Bullseye_Strength  Před 3 měsíci

      Good question, I'd say it's easier to set up, with more direct load on the prime movers & less on synergists like the abs/core giving it a better stimulus-to-fatigue ratio, it's also much harder to use as much weight on. For example, I've done 10 reps with 3 x 20kg plates stacked on my back before, but with this method, I'd be lucky to get a couple of reps with 60kg.
