Nice work bro. Keep it coming.
Solid content solid approach this is the way. Thanks for sharing the journey with us. Subbed.
Absolutely love that setup for pullups. Lots of people are really missing out on the deep contractions that free-moving grips allow you to have. Never felt it on the lats until I switched to doing them on the rings. Awesome video, man.
Cheers & I agree 100%.
I used to only feel pull-ups in my biceps & forearms until I used free-moving handles.
Thanks for sharing this high-level knowledge! I learn something new which is very hard when you already know many things. Have a nice day!
NIce video ! I mostly do the same as you for my workouts, i stopped caring too much. I just do what i enjoy and what i can do at the actual moment. And that's mostly pushups, pullups, chinups, dips, ohp/assisted handstand pushups, some squats and some deadlifts. I also have a very short selection of isolation exercises : curls and tricep extension. And i go for a 5km run every other day. Simple and effective.
Do you go to failure each set?
Very effective and smart split in my opinion
Awesome keep it up brother im trying to get like you
An evolution of the upper lower split for me was the chest+quads / back+hams split. Nobody seems to be doing it so it's either stupid as fk or I'm just built different
Would you do a video trying pec flys using gymnastics rings on your dip stand? Would be cool to see you doing them with added weight.
Nice work!! Keep it up. What is that song by the way, very motivational.
Cheers & The Flux - Beneath It All
thanks and again, keep getting after it! Enjoy your material@@Bullseye_Strength
I build swingsets, trapeze are underrated for calisthenics
My split is very similar, only I do torso/limbs. I find that doing my arms in other day then chest/back is more beneficial. And I mix my exercise more, push ups, bench barbell pres, dumbbells, floor press, rings pull ups, chin ups,rows...diferent things in every workout. But Im also going to failure in every set.
That's an interesting split. I saw a video with the WWE wrestler LA Knight where he talked about a similar split. I may give it a shot at some point.
@@Bullseye_Strength in upper/lower is like to much to do in upper day,chest,back,delts,arms...And next day only legs. Especially from my point of view becouse I don't care about my legs that much. In torso/limbs you can put all energy in chest and back, then do a delts and arm day the next day with the same energy. Then day off and repeat. Is basicly like upper/lower you just do arms in lower day.
Bro came out of nowhere on my timeline. Based lifter, hit subscribe
Dig it. I love 3x per wk upper lower too! Great on recovery. I’m really curious what horizontal row variations you include in your overall approach too. You do barbell rows?
Cheers & I do dumbbell bent-over rows & inverted rows on my dip station for horizontal pull work.
@@Bullseye_Strength single arm or double for the db bent rows?
@@patrickjulius7352 Double, with elbows out.
@@Bullseye_Strength how much weight for something like that? low back ever give out first?
Would you say the push ups have been as effective as the bench press for hypertrophy?
Yes, probably slightly better (for me) as I've been able to perform them more consistently.
what’s the name of that harness you use for push-ups?
It's a chest harness for rock climbing, the one I'm using is from a company called Petzl.
Are you using a ceiling mount for gymnastic rings?
I'm using the beams in my garage.
@@Bullseye_Strength Thanks. Thought maybe had Rouge ring hanger.
what kind of cardio do you do? maybe doing light cardio instead of lifting weights would help prevent overtraining on days where you want to work out but need rest
I've started doing exactly that, I've been cycling & walking on my off days.
Works for me. Can't be all of needed activity from strength training with intensity.
