Only design critique for me is the plate storage and clearance issue when doing low rows, deadlifts. Just a slight change in the angles with a redesign of the base of the machine would be cool to see in future models (weight plate storage being more y-shaped bowing out despite being less desirable in terms of overall foot print)
Great video I have the powertech , but deliberated before buying it, as ATX appears to be better engineered but read some reviews that said some exercises are more difficult on ATX. Fortunately, I have a garden room which allows me me to have a functional trainer also. However, home gym owners can fill any amount of space. At the end of the day, less is more 😀
The fact that you hired a voice actor for this is incredible. Unless you’re just a man of many talents.
Also, great review!
hey powertec leg extension is good for 6.2 tall guy?
Very good review, Bullseye!
That's high praise coming from the LeverGym King himself! 🙌
@@Bullseye_Strength appreciate that.
I have the triplex Atx which probably has better biomechanics in the lever arms due to the position of the fulcrum and the size and shape of the arms themselves. And this allows for excellent push-pull exercises, including all rowers! However, with the high and low pulleys there are fewer exercises compared to the Powertech since there is less range of movement as there are guide stops that allow small angles, this is because the pulleys are small and prefer to guarantee safe sliding at all times, without the possibility of ever exiting the guide. However, for all the exercises that can be done and the quality of them is excellent, perhaps better than Powertech!
Interesting, I will definitely look into that model if/when I get another Levergym.
Thanks for the tip. 🙏
For completeness of information, Atx has the squat system with a bar with mobile fabric belts, whereas your former Powertech has a bar with fixed attachments and here Powertech allows you to do more exercises, more movement options that you yourself showed in the videos as a bench tight grip or even hip trust culf seated hyperextnsion. Maybe the same squat is better with the fixed bar of the Powertech (I couldn't say for sure doing it only with mine which is still acceptable, but generally I prefer other types of squats such as normal to the rack, to the t bar front and hack with squat Attack , handlebar goblet, belt with belt and PIN standing on top of two boxes supporting the ATX levers placed horizontally) and instead biceps exercises are better with an ATX bar which is more mobile! Powertech and Atx are both excellent products, Power tech has a little more versatility but I prefer Atx for general biomechanics, the basic levers are better, a few fewer exercises but still many and all done well!@@Bullseye_Strength
Haha technogym is trash for the most part but I was forced to use their machines on a cruise I recently took 😂
Terrible kit, the seated hamstring curl always feels like it's gonna snap my shin like a Kit Kat.
@@Bullseye_Strength yup their shoulder and chest press resistance profiles are horrible as are a lot of their arm machines and functional trainers. The only good one I found was their traditional pin selected cable lat pulldown machine which can serve as a pullover and tricep push down. Their smith machine is ok too lol
What a great video. I asked a while back why you got rid of it. Luckily I have a decent amount of space in my basement to keep it and use it. I would rate it pretty much the same. Some exercises are great and some are hard to get into and setup. Working out alone I do like that I have something that will catch when I reach failure and for me that’s a huge pro.
