    Thank you for the idea. I was looking for something to replace bench in my home gym. I had also tried using my cable column and attaching the cable to my chest harness but the feel with free weight is much better. One extra tip is I also use thick rubber grips around the dip handles for extra wrist protection.

    Does this harness setup work well for inverted rows compared to a dip belt?

      The one I've got is called a *"Petzl Voltige Chest Harness"*
      I would use words like "rock climbing chest harness" or words to that effect.

      I appreciate the input, but strongly disagree.
      A backpack is more of a pain to set up, the load placement puts more of the weight on the core, negatively skewing the stimulus-to-fatigue ratio of the exercise (as you're basically doing a weighted plank) & the weight tends to tip & move around inside the backpack, creating load inconsistency/instability etc.
      & for very strong individuals, have fun wrestling a 100kg+ backpack onto your back & then getting into position (vs how easily I got into position with over 100 kg in the video).

      @Bullseye_Strength  Před 3 měsíci

      @@magnus263 They're great, although I don't do them often as I prefer more stable exercises due to an old shoulder issue that I don't want to risk reinjuring.
