You can buy apigenin as a supplement but know that apigenin is a flavonoid and chamomile has 35 other flavonoids, 120 secondary metabolites, and 28 terpenoids, all having potential therapeutic effects on the body, so I suggest going with the cup of tea.

Great video. Great idea to save money, too. Thanks. The chemical sweeteners, will have to stay out, for me. I’ll use a sweet fruit as the sweetener. Yeah, it’s sugar but it’s nature’s sugar. Man tainted, highly processed Stevia is getting bad press now. Xylitol will do also, once the testing and effects are monitored. Stick with God given, untainted, unrefined foods as much as possible. 😊
Hi there. Would it be fine if i store it in a chiller? Not to freeze it i mean
Yes, Chiller is the preference!
Metal on a teflon pan.. teflon flakes are not in the blue print!
If health was a cake, lifestyle and diet would be the cake. And Teflon pans and turning off your wifi when you sleep would be the sprinkles on top ✌🏼
frying those lentils wraps like that is creating AGEs.
We stress so much about the little things, 99% is the foods we eat and lifestyle ✌🏼
Does it have to be white spelt flour or you can use just organic white flour ?
No it does not, any white flour
What are your thoughts on the Twinings Camomile, Honey and Vanilla Tea ? It’s a little sweeter but is it better just to add natural honey?
Perfectly fine! Always better to add natural honey 👌🏻
Interesting
Nice alternative, and it is actually delicious, a nice texture from the lentil tofu
You do realize that any botanist will tell you that the chemistry you mention as being nutritionally "beneficial" to humans were actually developed as the plant's method of defense against herbivory. All members of the mustard family (Brassicaceae, including broccoli ) contain these compounds.Same for oxalates found in dark greens such as spinach. If you consume these compounds in excess, they could eventually cause gastric upset, gout and kidney problems. Moderation.
Interesting video but weird ahh music
Haha, well it is a weird concept 😂
Very cool
That dipping sauce 🤩
🔥🔥
that’s pretty creative ❤
Bit of fun
Do you maybe know what to do when avocado gives you stomach cramps? I love the taste but it’s given me problems so I stopped eating it.
Your not used to this much fiber?
@@aliabduljalil4600 That can’t be it. I eat very healthy with lots of fibre. Avocado is the only thing that causes problems
@@liesbethkesseler oh okay. Good job on eating healthy tho keep it up.
We all have sensitivities, it could be a type of sugar or compound in avocado that your body may react to causing cramps, with gas and bloating it is usually a FODMAP, avocado has pereitol sugar molecule, if your body can’t digest it, it will pass through to the large intestine, ferment and cause gas/bloating. I recommend removing avo from your diet and maybe bring it back in a few months with only having a teaspoon to see if your body reacts. There are plenty of healthy monounsaturated fats such as nuts and seeds 👍🏻 I hope this helps
Definitely not the fiber 😂
I'll definitely be making the tofu. I've got a packet of black lentils in the pantry. I love legumes. I plan on cooking more with lentils. I also love chickpeas. ❤❤❤❤
I hope it turned out yummy!!
This was my problem, cut down calories by 1000 a day and exercised daily. Had heart palpitations, fatigue, horrid mental state all to try and loose a few pounds. Didn’t help I was totally ignoring macros too. Once I started hitting my protein and carb goals and went into a smaller calorie deficit, I actually became consistent and happier
Yesss, we all usually have to learn the hard way but I am glad you got there!
Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, you don’t need a license like a dietitian
You can go for a nutrition course for a couple of weeks, but a proper nutritionist has a Bachelors degree in nutritional science and are registered at the nutrition society of Australia, so actually yea I am registered 🤙🏻
My god certified organic unbleached stoneground. So first two ingredients is 2 types of organic flour.
Yepp, that’s correct!
…or just eat peas! Much better for you.
You are right! But you can’t beat a delicious shake 😂
total aesthetic perception here, but after the 3 days your face started looking keto too, prob just lighting but feel like your face looks different in first clips and 2nd
Haha, could be the lighting, 🤷 even I don’t know!
Is it possible to create tempe with this beans as the replacement for the soy beans? Just asking
Yes you can!! You can do it with any legume
Hi Mike, is there any way to talk to you personally, like an email? Looking forward for your response 💙

Pure stevia extract does not contain erythoyol, but you have to be mindful not to use a whole lot because it’s STRONG
That is correct!! But it is super expensive, and all stevia in stores are the erythoyol ones, the only one I could find is available online, even healthfood stores only sell the erythoyol type 😂
Yeah I get mine online cause it’s impossible to find around me
Greetings from Ghana... EXACTLY!! Thank you!
Greetings from Australia!! ✌🏼🙏🏻
Vegan diet is bad news and people frequently give it up in a few years but the fruitarianism is totally insane. It kills.
We are all respond differently to any diet, sometimes our body can benefit from a phase of eating just plant foods or fruit, but you are correct, a lifetime of eating a restrictive diet? For most, maybe no.
Yum looking forward to this in winter!
Hope you like it!
You can tell that you’re a vegan, your frizzy, dry hair.
Thank you so much!
You're welcome!
my mung beans dont look like that.. they're more round and dark green
My ones are mung beans that are split, they are also called mung Dahl, or yellow split peas. If you pulse it in a blender or crush them, they should be fine to use
Love it man
🙏🏻
Could go for a bowl of that soup today
super easy to make!
Yum. The soup looks amazing
It was!
wow. the study you mention is amazing. I'd been thinking about that too! and the universe keeps connecting dots for me!
Yea it is, super interesting and definitely has an effect!
I’ve been thinking about this caloric deficit he is in. Wouldn’t it be advantageous to have diet breaks in his situation to not be in a deficit 247?
100%, it could be quarterly for a maintenance calories phase for 2-8 weeks, even a caloric fluctuation daily to weekly, say 5 days deficit 2 days maintenance or surplus. I would think it would do wonders to his health, and enjoyment of diet
Nice
Isn’t it so
Can you show us your supplements please. Which supplements are you taking???
Hey hey! I have done a recent video on this A Nutritionist's 2024 Game-Changing Supplements! czcams.com/video/ZtUr2KC90KU/video.html
You should have kept the water. think about it..
That’s a fantastic thought! Those beneficial lacto bacteria, maybe I’ll just have a tablespoon next time as a nice pro-biotic
@@mikeseeksnutrition sure.
Wow looks delicious
It is! Definitely give it a go 👌🏻
Why are people so obsessed with protein. You can only absorb 20 grams at a time anyways. It's funny seeing bodybuilders consume a ton of protein in one meal thinking it's going to build more muscle.
That has truth to it, but when you included digesting duration, we can consume a larger portion of protein in one sitting, if it includes fibre and other macronutrients, it can take up to 5 hours for your body to completely digest. Slower digestion allows for greater absorption. People stress to much about the protein amount to build muscle, rather they should be focusing on the stimulus.
dang, I thought you were going to make your own pea protein powder.
Haha, that would be fun to watch! ‘Starts with me harvesting my crop of peas’ 😂😂

This is NOT typical tofu! Typical tofu has the starch removed by some process. This is Shan or Burmese style tofu. Certainly very delicious & nutritious, but unique and different from typical tofu especially in texture. You really should include this important fact in the video title, or at the very least mention it near the beginning of the video.
I didn’t know that, Thanks for letting me know!! Removing the starch sounds like a process 😂
The baby test is so important!
😂😂 definitely!
Loving hearing your take on popular food lifestyles that are out there and how you promote what’s right for you!
He also has a blended version of super veg. I wouldve loved to get your take on that
Helpful message about bio-diversity in diet. I liked that you demonstrate a more "normal" variation to making super veggie. It can also take a psychological toll to eat the same exact thing everyday. I will keep this method in mind, although I will probably stick to my boiling method for now (I've been adding sauerkraut, nutritional yeast, mustard seeds, and turmeric/black pepper. So, I am rather enjoying my super veggie at the moment). Would like to see a video about nutty pudding next. I've heard whey is a more nutritionally balanced protein source than pea protein, so that was the next modification I was planning on implementing into my Blueprint diet.
that's it! change the spices, toppings, and you got a whole new dish, LOVE IT!. ALL those added ingredients have their own amazing benefit, one tip, stick to only 1/4 tsp max on the turmeric, although a powerful anti-inflammatory, it is still a powerful herb and can be taxing on the system, (so 1/8-1/4 tsp), mustard seeds also are able to increase the bioavailabilty of sulforaphane (but i reckon you know that! lol) and is that a video request?? nutty putty breakdown and alternatives?? I'M ON IT!
@@mikeseeksnutrition awesome, thanks 🙌 And thanks for letting me know that I was totally overdoing it on the turmeric 😅 Can ginger be overdone too? I usually just take a medium-large chunk of ginger and turmeric root to boil and then chop it all up after cooking
@@joeyv5239 no limit on the ginger, within reason, but turmeric is very potent, especially if you are buying an organic one.
Love the intro! I have a question, how is this Super Veggie dish with a sensitive stomach? I am quazi low fodmap in terms of some veggies that send me to the moon toothing! LOL
I omit the broccoli and less tooting! Perfect for low fodmap!
if you didn't notice, i didn't add cauliflower, why? cause it sometimes gives me gas, so i left it out, make sure you cook the broccoli well, this will remove raffinose which is an indigestible sugar, and for some people it can cause gas, so cook your broccoli for the 5-7 mins as Bryan does, if you are shifting more plant based take it slow with the fibrous foods, its good that out of all the beans, lentils are one of the easier ones to digest, the ginger will aid in digestion. one recommendation to aid in digestion, start your day off with some warm water, lemon and or apple cider vinegar, and a pinch of salt, this will activate gastric juices, so when you do eat food, everything is running and breaking down food. if the broc or cauli gives you gas? leave it out! choose another leafy green like pak/buk choi which will go nicely with this dish and contains plenty of similar minerals to broccoli!
you listened to your body, that is key!!@@Tzippi
I never understood Bryan's claim that he is always in a caloric deficit, if that were true he would continually lose weight but presumably he is roughly maintaining his weight. At least I don't think he ever claimed that the goal was to drop weight until he disappear.
He is consuming the same amount of calories though, the body down regulates it's metabolism when you maintain a calorie deficit, but also its hormones, which i am not a fan of. one of the largest bodies of evidence regarding longevity is a reduction in calories, so that's why he does it. My recommendation for Bryan to maintain his hormone production is to have 1 or 2 days of maintenance or surplus caloric days, this can also help those for struggling with sustainability of diet
Nice video, ive been on the protocol for a few months and this was helpful, thanks for the brocoilli and garlic tip. You should do a video on his Nutty Pudding. Also, what are your thoughts on his spermedine recommendations? I've ordered some from plantpills UK website and nice to see a nutritionists take on it
Excited to try these wraps tonight. My nutty pudding has tasted a lot better since putting in freezer, also I've been mixing my protein in after the blending. I found blending the protein made the texture weird.
