    Come along for the ride, and learn a thing or two on how to allow the body to combat a cold.
    DAHL recipe
    • split mung beans 120g (30g of pro!)
    • Water 2-3 cups
    • Ginger 1 thumb
    • EVOO or GHEE 1/2 tbsp
    • turmeric 1/8 tsp
    • salt/pepper
    • Garam Masala 1 tbsp
    • pak choi
    • hemp seeds 2 tbsp
    Method
    • rinse dahl
    • precook ginger in olive oil
    • add dahl, water, and spices and bring to boil
    • cover and simmer for 10 mins
    • turn off the heat, add pakchoi (too steam), and rest with the lid on for 10 mins
    • serve with capsicum relish and hemp seeds
    RED CAPSICUM RELISH

    • 5-8 capsicums
    • spread on a baking tray and baking paper
    • oven "grill setting" MAX
    • 30-45 mins, give the capsicums a turn to grill either side
    • peel, dice
    • Add to jar, extra virgin olive oil and salt.
    • store in fridge for 2 weeks
    OG SOUP recipe
    • honey 1tbsp
    • EVOO 2 tbsp
    • Garlic 1-2 cloves
    • White beans 2x cans
    • ginger 1 thumb
    • Red paprika 1/2 tbsp, cumin 1/2 tbsp, turmeric 1/4 tsp
    • Black pepper, white peppercorns
    • Carrots
    • White potatoes
    • Cayenne spice 1/8 tsp
    • Canned tomato diced
    • Oregano 1 tbsp
    • Basil 1/2 tbsp
    • Water, maybe 4 cups, depending on pot size and amount of ingredients.
    FINISH POW MIX
    - fresh Lemon juice
    - nutritional yeast 2-3 tbsp
    - miso paste 1/2 tbsp
    OPTIONAL
    • Pasta
    • celery
    • Bay leaf x2
    METHOD
    • add garlic, ginger, honey, and olive oil to the pot and release flavors
    • add spices, canned tomato, canned beans, cook for 5 mins
    • add vegetables,
    • add water
    • cook for 45mins-1 hr on a low simmer with the lid on
    • FINISH POW MIX
    • rest for 1 hr lid on
    • serve with sourdough

    Hi! If I made this soup and put it in containers in the freezer for when I am sick, would it loose it’s nutritional value?
