Whole and healthy pub-style shnitty,
Hydrate 1 cup black/French/red lentils, for 6 hrs
germinate
24-72 hrs, drain and let sit to sprout, rinse every 24 hours until sprouted.
Recipe
Lentil Meat
1 cup dry lentils
1.5 cup water
Dried basil 1 tsp.
dried thyme 1/2 tsp.
dried oregano 1 tbsp.
nutritional yeast 1 tbsp.
paprika 1 tsp.
salt ¼ tsp.
Buttermilk
soy milk 1 cup
mix in vinegar 1 tbsp. preferably apple cider
Crumb
Rolled Oats 1 cup
Nutritional yeast 2 tbsp.
Oregano 1 tbsp.
Salt ¼ tsp.
refrigerate crumbed schnitzel for 30 mins for crumb to firm.
cook shntizel in EVOO or bake
Roast Paprika
oven grill on highest temp
Turn every 15-20 mins till charred
peel and dice.
