Oh my gosh! 😉That was a very interesting and intense podcast! Although my heart is still beating a little bit faster than normal with all those stories, I am glad I didn't miss it. Recommendable! And I have to admit, occasionally I kiss my birds (cockatiels) too, despite knowing better. There is only so much I can do for my beloved birds to provide them with healthy food, a safe environment, a loving home and care etc. without getting paranoid, not doing enough or doing something wrong.

My Sun conure.is very handsome and loves to talk.call my cat by his name.call me from my name.to.i have made his song with his name.he wanted me to sing all the time.he to be clap with the song. Have to 👏. His name is..❤ SUNNY❤ .I have made a song for for him.usung his name. Sunny .sunny .how are you.sunny. .sunny. how are you.he love it so much. He use to sing along with me.also.if i put d 📻 on to listening 🎶. He sing along too . His own way..he says. Bath. Meaning. need a bath. I maje him to fly over from his cage to the wash room face wash sink. I Open the tap gently.he just jump to the water. Then he starts to flash water putting his head under the tap.he takes a very good wet bath to his body.after he calls my name.to say.he is done with d bath." Sunny is my Sun Shine. He always shines on me. Love him ❤️ so much ❤️ .

Some great ideas here thank you. Are toilet rolls ok then ? I read somewhere that the glue could be an issue ( mercury or something)but you can't believe everything you read . Ps i like that ceiling perch in the background. Ill have to try snd find one 😊

Well, it is a conure afterall, will get bored of it and pick your twizzers because they will seem a better toy than the ones you spend hundreds xD I lost track of how much toys I got mine but they rather play with my hairbands xD

Hi! I see much conflicting information regarding houseplants and birds. What houseplants do you have? What source is good to us

This is amazing and a completely different technique to stop them screaming from what i have read and even paid for before. None of it worked and I tried for over a year . Sadly i have to keep my screaming green cheek in a separate room until I am home (although I work from home twice a week so only 3 days) as he's too much to handle for my partner who has a child to look after so he screams all day. He was a rescue bird and I think he had a bad past . I am definitely trying these ideas. It's been 4 years of expense and trying everything imaginable so looking forward to trying something different as at times I feel like just giving up because I do everything by the book . Thanks very much

Such a fabulous setup! Ive been using cardboard boxes from online orders to create foraging boxes filled with paper, straws, sola and foraging toys that my conure loves sorting through like a seed-driven dinosaur! 😊

If I work 3 12 hour shifts, but at home the rest of the week, is it fair to get two green cheeks in a large flight cage? I would keep them out literally the other four days. Thanks for your input.

It's interesting to hear about the international travel part. That is absolutely right! I am about to move my conure cross borders and it's been a pain! Before i started this process, I looked up info online, but there is barely anything online describing the process or a step-by-step etc.

good video thanks. what does it mean when they are constantly making a trill noise. My CGG has really bad behavuoral issues and screams like hell when i leave the room , nothing i do has worked and i have paid for support but everything failed so he is a very vocal bird. He has now started making the most horredous screeching noises when in his cage but he has also had an awful hormanal period that strated in Feb and is still ongoing and i am wondering if the trill noise are part of that as they seem constant , Out of ideas

thanks for the video. my 12 yr old male GCC that i have had for 1.5 years has suddenly become a demon. i am hoping it is just hormones and it will pass, but in the meantime i do not know what to do with him. i adopted him from a friend after he became neglected when she had twins. he used to be mostly free range in the house, and now sadly i have ro keep him caged most of the time. trying to figure out the trigger, but the attacks are very random. he loves cuddles and sitting on my shoulder, but now sometimes, without me doing anything, he will start biting my neck so hard he draws blood, over and over. other times he will suddenly fly from his perch to where i am sitting and bite my face. i have had to grab him and put him in his cage, and i know you said this is the worst thing to do, but he just keeps biting and won't stop so i have to separate myself from him somehow. what other option do i have besides putting him in his cage? i am covered in scabs. help!

I must have a defective one. She barely makes noise. I get a few squawks here and there but most of time you wouldn't know she is there. PS I had her 19 years.

We aropted a 10 year old green cheek conure recently. The conure absolutely loves my boyfriend. Plays with him, relaxes on his shoulder, always ready to play with him. Its awesome. But the bird hates me. I have no idea why. I do the same things my boyfriend does, but my conure keeps biting me really hard and making me bleed. He starts lunging as soon as im anywhere near him. But he'll also step up on my finger and he chooses to run up on my my shoulder sometimes. I can give him treats. But if i just put my hand near him or stand near his cage he gets angry and attacks.
