Hi Rachel & Debbie Aaww we love the mini mountain that is catbells it’s a really great hike and the views are fab in all weathers! As always loving your energy! Me and my boys just did the stepping stones, dovedale holes, lions head and reynards cave..was great, amazing site, so peaceful. My boys loved it loads

Obviously Catbells was named for the little bell you put on your cat's collar so you can find them hiding in the laundry basket.

Yay the Lake District 😃 I only went up Cat Bells once as I recall, which would have been a very long time ago. What a lovely walk you had there Rachel. Hope Debbie enjoyed her first Wainwright 👍

You actually too the hard route - the way you went down is the one I always recommend to people to go up and down if they want an easy way up without any scrambling. You both made light work of it mind and it sounded dam windy on the summit, which was shame, as was the rain and clag coming it but good to see none of that stopped you, cheers Alan

Oh wow, all saints church is where John Butler goes. If you've never heard of him, just type him into youtube, he's amazing. Full of wisdom, teachings and insight, I think he now has over 100k subscribers too 😀. Anyone struggling with their mental health will take a lot of comfort from him 🙂 Awesome video, I really enjoyed this series and look forward to binging through a load more 🙌🏻🫶🏻

Another good'n 🙏🏼 The first time I saw an honesty box, shortly after I first started hiking, I couldn't believe it. I'm from Central London and it was a totally alien concept to me 😆😆 I had to wait for someone else to walk past so i could ask them if I had understood the "make a donation" part correctly, I felt like i was stealing something 😂😂. Absolutely love it whenever i see them now, 🫶🏻

Funny name but still a real nice walk and in good weather too, a rarity this year for sure! I hope those cows were behind a fence and I love a cheese and onion sarnie! Funny after all that rain and then a bit of sun how all the vegetation had all of a sudden gone wild but loved the buttercups. No wonder you were tired, especially with the additional 2 miles and a cheeky pink and meal at the Carpenters Arms would not have helped either lol, cheers Alan

Great chilled hike, I’m fortunate that I Live about 20 mins away from Sharpenhoe. If you enjoyed walking in that area I would recommend Pegsdon Hills and the fantastic views from Deacon Hill.
