Oddly enough I've never gone through an arm workout exactly how I train. I typically simplify it because I assumed most people wouldn't want that many variations in their programming but after training with a few friends and seeing how they were unable to use their arms for the next few days I knew that it was worth sharing with you...

I Challenged 4 Women To A Leg Workout For $5,000!
I appreciate this video; however, as one of those small percentage of people that must remain on SSRIs or spiral into suicidal depression, I get really nervous any time anyone makes a video like this. You did a great job; however, I always want to say to people, if you are on medication and your depression/bipolar etc is in remission, STAY ON YOUR MEDICATION. There is a very good chance that is the reason you are in remission.
What’s the nose thing?
Freaking awesome the checking progress comment had me busting up.
Just watching this video is awesome your mentality and energy is awesome. Think I got an ab workout just from the good laughs thank you.
Ore you to the turkey and make a hairtransplant
I love the content but I've really found that Mike Mentzer hit it on the head when it comes to training, especially for arms. I work out my arms 3-4 times a week, basically every other day... but I only do 1 real set per muscle group. Sounds stupid but holy hell has it worked. Over the past month I've grown about a half inch on my bicep and the fullness of my bicep has never been better. I've trained for 6 straight years and nothing else has caused this type of immediate change to my body. Basically, I go to the gym every other day, or close to it, and I workout ever part of my body that is recovered. Basically that means arms/shoulders/chest/calves and upper back every single workout. Legs and lats are every other trip (basically every 4-5 days). I don't do the same exercise ever workout, but I do variations of the same routines. Common arm work: 1-2 warm up sets of cable pushdowns... then 1 heavy working set that produces failure at 8-12 reps straight into a triple drop (75%/50%/25%) to failure. 1-2 warmup sets of curls (lat tower curl, cable curl, dumbbell, or straight bar)... then 1 heavy working set that produces failure at 6-10 reps. Then I normally do a drop set. I don't do preacher curls because I like having my tendons attached ... that's all. Arms are done I don't work forearms and I don't work different heads. I just switch up the movement 2 days later to make sure I'm getting a well rounded hit to each muscle. The biggest key to Mike Mentzer style is reaching total failure. I use drop sets because I wimp out on partials too early. Partials are perfectly fine though. It also depends on how easy I can drop set by myself. If I'm doing barbell curls I'll just do partials instead of drop sets. Another tip, and one not talked about enough - big glass of water and BCAAs before bed time. You need water to recover and most recovery happens at night. I also try to eat a cup of cottage cheese or some other decent protein before bed.
If I was A you- tube I’d be Ryan, cause I don’t know why, but all this horse 💩 makes Sense 😂
How much do devices like this cost? Is it worth the investment?
Very entertaining and informative, you rock man..
PPL RYAN…PPL RYAAAAAN
Sir, I am fan of yours, got good byceps on your tips
I don’t normally like science videos 😂 Acid got me off smoking for a month. Vitamins and probiotics seem to help me. The problem is I keep forgetting to take them, and I ride the valley of my soul like a mofo 💀
I'm on Test 400mg a week and I feel no different. My bloods are saying that my test is way up and I'm looking slightly bigger, I'm slightly stronger BUT I don't feel any different. I'm not getting any of the positives like sex drive, motivation etc. Why might this be???
".. and one of his forearms was the size of his leg" lol !
Been a doctor for 10 years, the overwhelming majority of shoulder pain I see is a combination if impingement with supraspinatus tendonopathy and the posterior capsule stretch shown here is a great way to prevent it. Cudos for being the first fitness influence I've seen advocate its use.
sounds too good to be true
He's 36??? I'm glad I don't take steroids
Where did you get this completed?
Biggest I ever got my arms to was “20.5. I’ve taken almost 13 years off of working out and recently got back into it. I have bad shoulders now so I’ll never get close to what I was but just want to get as big and strong as I can.
After my 1st session and cant hold my cup of coffee still even if my life is depending on it
How can I grow my arms if I have no arms ???
This is useless.
Despite riding a scooter around while delivering your lecture, this feels like the most credible explanation of protein synthesis I've heard yet.
I used to be alcoholic and almost killed many friends and my self while drinking. In 2017-18 I stop drinking and started using opioids. I'm getting injektion at clinic only now days once a week to keep me off from "hard drugs." Its been hard journey but its getting better. Depression never went away. Just as bad as it used to be. I been lost my whole life and I really doubt that i will be ever okay. Its so hard and daily i want to end it but i still wont do it. I think about suicide but i wont do it. I fantasise about that. I hope every year to be better but i feel its never gonna be better. I have people who cares about me but i still don't belong here.
what ever you descrip, i actually saying all of this since 10 years without the scientific data to back it up, only with testing and feeling it the right way, thank you for your provided data.
Ive got 19.5 inch arms but it dosent feel like it at all
Wow, your new hair grew 4 inches in 2 months. I want that.
Graham Hammock debate not sure the dork won.. lol I think they need to take it to ring. Old think the old fart could take him.
What’s wrong with sticking to the basics
BRO you NEED to try LU RAISES, pls.
My man 👊🏽
Exactly the type of miserable person i’d advise anyone to save their sanity from. Grown man on gear gets upset at gym kids and newbies for admiring their own progress? Get the fuck over yourself buddy. And stop wearing a tank top if you’re gonna get pissed about this topic
Bro shut the hell up being insecure kids have more progress at a younger age then you could get without a needle
So just don’t do it after u workout?
well this is how a real workout shoulbe compared to all this BS on youtube i ingested for far long
Biceps are for show. Triceps are for go.
I developed my forearm with the Quagmire method... 😂😂😂
I'm also looking into transcranial magnetic therapy for major depressive disorder. It looks like it treats tinnitus, too. I wish psilocybin mushrooms were legal here. I'd have to go on a long road trip.
Ryan, there’s no doubt Semaglutide works, however, you can’t use it unless you pay for it. I recently saw a South Park video about semiglutide which was hilarious which highlighted the point that unless you have diabetes, you can’t get it. I would love to have it, unfortunately unfortunately because I’m not diabetic is not available to me as an option.
Trying to figure out the "over the top" comment
Brilliant advice brother on it now 👍
My body went supernova and just exploded out into Infinity. It was like I was an ice cube thrown into the ocean and it just melted. This was by far the most incredible and most positive and most joyful experience that you could possibly imagine. That was the moment of death and I had the Epiphany that death is the greatest thing that could happen to a living creature because it feels like in that process of dying for a split second it's terrifying because you're dying and you have no idea what's coming next. But then as you fully let go and the death occurs the next Split Second you're so relieved. It's like your entire life was this giant thousand pound weight wrapped around your shoulders just tons and tons of weight and then all of it was just lifted in a split second and you realize that you're untouchable and that you're Immortal and that nothing could ever disturb you again. It's complete peace just utter peace and joy and profundity. The beauty of it is Indescribable. How is it possible. There's no way that this is possible. Did I really just die? How could that be? I'm laughing and I'm smiling 😂
Imagine you could become so conscious that your consciousness could become so interconnected with itself that whatever abilities or skills you think I have, you could just instantly download for yourself. You can become so fucking conscious that you're me and you could just download every single one of my lessons and experiences and skills just instantly into your mind. It's so much consciousness it leaves you gasping for breath. It leaves you in tears. It leaves you with your jaw dropped on the floor. It leaves you plastered on the floor.
If love is connection, what would be the highest love? What could be more deeply interconnected than ONE? How does reality achieve connection on a metaphysical level? By the elimination of all difference between things. As long as things are different, that difference disconnects them from each other by definition. Why do we say that a kangaroo is not a terrorist? Because a kangaroo is different than a terrorist. So, a kangaroo is disconnected from a terrorist to the degree that it is not identical to a terrorist. But as consciousness realizes that it imagines all difference, the differences which disconnect all things reconnect into a unity, like drops of water merging into a puddle. Eventually the difference between self and other reconnects as well. When this happens, you realize there is no difference between you and any other being. When this happens, you become self-less. Or, in other words, your sense of self extends to all things, becoming infinite.
Even memory doesn't have to transfer. Psychedelics states can be so radical that they do not store well in human memory. What you gotta keep in mind is that time is imaginary, so yeah, on salvia you could dream some crazy stuff, like spending 55 years in another life. That's not a mistake, that's how consciousness works at the deepest levels. The whole point of taking salvia is to erase the distinction between 55 years being objectively real vs imaginary. If you take enough psychedelics that distinction will disappear because it is dreamed up by consciousness in the first place.
Think of it this way: if you are lying in bed sound asleep, you can dream up a hallucinated alien chasing your hallucinated body while you fight it off with a hallucinated machine gun which can puncture its hallucinated skin resulting it a hallucinated victory and even a hallucinated feeling of joy. So in a dream - precisely BECAUSE everything is a hallucination - a hallucinated weapon is very useful. Without it, you might get eaten alive!
In a dream you might take a saw and cut open your skull and you might feel around. You might take a mirror and look inside and you could see the brain in the dream. If you see that brain in your skull inside your dream does that mean that brain is creating the dream? No of course not you see this is to confuse the contents of the dream for the dream itself and this is precisely the same thing that materialists do with this waking dream. So when I say something radical like the brain doesn't exist many people say oh my god that's crazy, that's ridiculous, what have you been smoking? No just think through the logic of it. It's very very simple. This here is your dream. You cut open your skull yes of course there's some pink squishy substance inside. You can feel it. You can screw around with it but does that mean that it is causing this whole dream. No of course not.
The only problem I have with all of this is that your current, best guess, science-fueled approach to building muscle ISN'T the same one you used to put on 95% of the mass you now have. I want to know how you built your Current physique - what techniques were best, what built the most mass, etc. - I don't want to hear about what's great for you now, and has allowed you to put on .1% more mass, because that means I'm the Guinea pig. I'm too old to not take the best, most hardcore approach - time on this earth is limited. Let's GOOOOOO!!! I'm not afraid of hard work, I have high intensity, I'll push it (or pull), just gimme the scoop skipper.
I like your cute little mic-ro-phone. My 7 yr old daughter loves tiny things too.
