They Don't like the Turkish Getup... But What about This?
In short, the Turkish getup doesn't have to have the kettlebell at arm's length.
IMO I think it's much better with the weight close to the body
I've had many combat athletes and tactical users message me and say they love using heavy sandbags or other weights close to the body for doing Turkish get-ups
Modifying the limiting factor of the shoulder stability {which is also why it's. a great movement anyway)
you can apply load to different areas of the body.

    what is the diifference between : clean + jerk + clean + jerk etc ... if long cycle it's clean and Jerk ?

      Most people don't know that Long Cycle means Clean and Jerk in kettlebell sport. Many still think it's just about the time they do and exercise

    I wish I had heard this a few months ago. I had a single 20kg and it was time to move up. I ended up buying a 2nd 20kg as well as a 32kg. And I don’t fully regret my decision as the 32kg has been very useful for raw strength. However, my pair of 20kg is are my main focus. I really had no idea how much I’d love a pair and how useful they would be. I also had no idea how much they’d kick my ass. If I’d known I would have saved the heavier 32kg for a later purchase. Love your vids!

      It stretches them through reciprocal inhibition. It doesn't build them but definitely allows them to be put through a solid moving ROM.

    Unfortunately i cannot get either these or the VF ones where i live. I'd love to train kettlebells with less pressure on my forearms and wrists, which end up almost invariably badly bruised after each workout

      @@kettlebellmusclegain Yes and no, respectively. I just have very small wrists and forearms. Am no weakling, though. I am training with an Eleiko comp bell but i don't like it and besides, i think i've been ripped off since it's a cast bell with no hollow construction. I need to get my hands on some high-quality steel bells with a better handle window and overall balance. KK are too expensive though...

      This is a WKSF world championship with several countries. . Not competing against Denisov. Who by the way I hosted in the US in 2013. But who cares. It was good enough to beat all the other competitors who were there. ;). Technique is bad? A joke.

    Dude WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Just tried it with some heavy ones and with the elbows flared out is soo much easier and natural. The other way was so hard and un-natural. I’d always be getting pulled forward off center of gravity. Thank you so much!

      You're welcome that gives you control but then a lot of times people are over gripping and wearing out there forearm strength when they don't need to. Only time I really grip a kettlebell is when they are heavy in the swing and clean and snatch and if I'm getting ready to press and it's really heavy

    I'm new to kettlebells and just bought my first set of powdercoated kettlebells from 8 to 24kg. They are all singles.Are there any that I should have as pairs in particular? Or should I get another matching set so that they are all pairs? P.s. I plan on getting a 28kg kettlebell too & maybe a 32kg? P.P.S. I have years and years of regular weight training experience,but have never really used kettlebells until now.

    I know this sounds crazy but I believe the kettlebell snatch is an amazing way to reduce stomach fat. Or I’m just exercising my core muscles in ways I never had before with a kettlebell compared to gymbro lifting.

      Yes that can help but you'll just have to focus on every rep. Build strength in you glutes and glue medius to help keep knees pushing out and no internally rotating .

      Personally I love using ProKettlebell for the beveled edges bells like Valery made in 2013 Next to that I prefer kettlebells USA Paradigm Elite.
