Add a jerk and it's a full body workout in a compact time slot, perfect for the busy person

Clean and jerk is one of my favorites. Especially for kettlebell sport. A 5 minute set without setting down the weights will demonstrate strength and conditioning for anyone who can accomplish it. Let alone 10 minutes. 😉

@@kettlebellmusclegain as a mere mortal, I barely make it thru my C&J EMOMs with setting bells down.

That's totally fine. I do the same in many training sessions

Great video, Joe. The dead stop double clean is probably my favourite exercise ever. I do these probably more than I really should. Like a lot. Feels cool doing them and it has ridiculous real world carry over.

Absolutely. The kettlebell clean is the most important kettlebell carryover exercise

Definitely! Few heavy sets of these before work in my freezing garage here in the UK and I'm set up for the day!

    Nice!
Isn't No.2 also called the DV8 clean? 'Invented' by Phil Scarito, DV8 fitness's owner?

I don't know how anyone can claim "invention" of the only real way to set up a very heavy double clean . I've done this this way since 2010 never thought it anything but a proper way to not hurt your back 😉. But whatever helps people play hard without injuries is cool in my book

@@kettlebellmusclegain True. Which is why I used inverted commas when I used the word "invented"...
Anyway, Phil Scarito uses this technique, teaches it & advocates for it a lot on his channel.
Perhaps check him out & see for yourself...?
