In short, for a heavy double kettlebell clean from the floor we have to eliminate slack from the system to properly use our legs.
Demo 2x40kg or 176 lbs total.

Always wanted to know what a shaved silverback in khaki pants looked liked 😂 f’in beast brother!!!
Makes sense. Thanks coach.
Welcome.
Looks like a good way to pattern the movement and learn where to start the pull when dropping the bells from rack. I struggle with letting the bells swing too far back during double cleans, so I will work this into my warm up for practice.
That's a good idea
@@kettlebellmusclegain might turn them into a 'box' pull to get the right depth down.
MONSTER!! 💪💪 Dig it!
U Rock, Pimpin 💯👍🏿
Thanks
It appears that it releases tension on the arms as well. I have some bicep tendonitis near the elbow and have minute pain during heavy snatches.
let it heal
Does this change the muscles worked from a standard kbs clean, or emphasize a particular one more?
More quads and deeper hip flexion. . it's just a deeper movement. Great exercise . Do both
Is it good practice to make this set up for all bells to make it a habit
Guess it just depends on your goals. Whatever happens I prefer to keep the slack out of the arm when starting dead cleans.. when I clean from the floor it's always from heel area as I'm not tall. Only 5 ft 8
Have you ever used macebells, Joe? If so what are your thoughts on them.
Mace > Kettlebell
I think they're very beneficial when paired with Kettlebell or barbell work.
I disagree highly. Very complimentary IMO though. For overall body strength no way a mace macebell or club can beat kettlebells.
