  • There are so many things nowadays that go into making videos that wow people and have loads of engagement.
    in many of them, the message is awful or regurgitated
    in a more dopamine producing manner than it's predecessor.
    many fitness "pages" or " influencers" are using everything from professional studios to film so so content or even using AI to make stuff wow you
    just be aware that many times these people don't look the way they are portrayed.
    we constantly see the " best " Of something or the achievements without the failures and problems that it took to get there.
    my point? Don't compare yourself or get down compared to what you see . just continue to be consistent and do your best.
    you'll get to your goal soon enough.
    Joe.

    That messed with my head so bad back when I first got into fitness many years ago. I thought if I didn’t have abs that showed 24/7 I was doing it wrong. I thought they were just built different, 250lbs shredded. Great video

      @@kettlebellmusclegain do you lose strength when you lose weight ?
      I'm wondering what are you losing muscle or fat ? Or even water ?

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  Před 3 měsíci

      Not usually . Unless it's too fast of a drop. Usually it's water, fat and intra muscular glycogen (stored carbs) which also loses water weight in muscle.

    Do you have any advice for keeping your neck healthy? I just got into kettlebells and I find a lot of strain around my neck/upper back area

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  Před 4 měsíci

      Usually at first there some acclimation. What are you using them for? what exercises?

    • @ru8775
      @ru8775 Před 3 měsíci

      Yes have you trained before or just started training from nothing ?
      A few days off between training helps recovering and also mobility and stretching and also don't forget a good mattress and pillow is important and more than 7 better 8 hours of sleep everyday
      A few weeks hurting muscles is normal even when you're trained and stop for a month or so

  • @jazzcat7300
    @jazzcat7300 Před 4 měsíci +2

    How many days a week do you train? Would you recommend one day on one day off?

    • @kettlebellmusclegain
      @kettlebellmusclegain  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Personally strength wise 2 to 3 . Maybe 1 conditioning long session and . Trail biking any time I can. . but yes 1 in 1 off. Is good IMO. But often if I'm going for building muscle usually 2 in 1 off 2 on. 2 off. ..just depends how you can recover

    • @jazzcat7300
      @jazzcat7300 Před 4 měsíci

      I have been doing a lot of single arm swings, 120 5 days a week heavy, 60 each arm. When I get to midweek it feels like I need a break, but I can still train and when my 2 days off come, I really need to recover. I think 1 on 1 off might be better what do you think?@@kettlebellmusclegain

    What conferences are there here in Texas (you’re in Texas, right?) that focus on strength with KBs?

      I'm located in Cincinnati. Do you mean gyms or certifications?

    • @anthonyscrivner65

      You mentioned seeing influencers at conferences and mentioned The Arnold … was wondering if there are conferences or communities less focused on bodybuilding and more endurance or functionality.
