- It's been a long time for a max reps attempt with the 40kg and my hands were too baby soft for heavy kettlebell snatches!
I have to admit using these changed my tune on using hand protection! @wodndone

I do heavy snatches: 3 sets of 9-10 (per side). Is that a good way to go or should I lower the weight for the sake of a longer set? Or a different program all together?
All is good. . Try some in reps of 2 to 5, 5 to 15 and 15to 25.
I see. I’m not excited about “long cycle” so I try to do more weight and less reps. But that’s a good new way for me to go at it. Thanks for your videos.
@joebrown479 thanks LONG CYCLE does not mean TIME spent in sets. , but refers to CLEAN AND JERK in kettlebell sport. Do what you like.

It's ok..75% of everyone thinks it's about duration. Can be confusing unless youve done GS or has a coach like me ;)
So did you do the left side too? You always show clips working your dominant side!
I usually do my dominant first in training so I can make my non dominant better. No one watches long videos any more. 🤑

@@kettlebellmusclegain I do the non dominant side first so I know how many reps I will get and won't do more on the dominant side. Also so I am more fresh when doing non dominant side. Did I get something wrong? I will try your style but it didn't help my non dominant side before, it seemed.
I do both ways. This was just a max test. Normally I don't dominant side first. . but I never limit my max as I go for sport comps too for example if I can get 10 more reps on my dominant arm that is what I'm going to use last when my body is fatigued in competition It's never going to be exactly perfect we are not 100% symmetrical there is no way for it even the world's best have a side that can do more reps in certain competitions but yes try both and then you have different ways to focus on progression
