Here's an awesome game for you guys! Count how many times I'm saying "so-called". LOL
Gotta get ready for bed can't watch at the moment but, wanted to give you a comment for the algorithm. You keep me motivated and working on my kettlebell technique. I appreciate what you do!
Thanks for the support! Catch a good night of sleep! - Gregory
These are so called great tips.
You're so-called right!
LOL…came to say the same thing 😂
ill give it a so called hell yeah !
Beginner here, thanks. Very clear and concise. Much appreciated.
Awesome explanations and to the point. Nice video
Excellent teaching. Well done!
Terrific video/session brother, thanks for posting it! The instruction and enthusiasm you bring had me subscribe. Now to progressively watch more of your videos.
Double clean, double front squat, and double press. If we are settling on three only I will die on that hill.
You are doing great work
That was good. Thank you.
Your hybrid hand to hand swing has given me very good results, the proprioceptive feedback dutring the motion is pure bliss
Glad you enjoy it Vibhav! - Gregory
Brother that's some quality work right there, much appreciated! You've earned a new subscriber!
Much appreciated!
Really amazing content as usual greg!!
Glad to be of service Xavier! - Gregory
Best descriptions I have seen. You have cleaned up my technique, made my exercises more effective and safer! Thank you.
Glad it helped!
I have rediscovered the fun and benefits of working with Kettlebells - I bought 3 to start with and I am using them in weekly routine. Thanks for your videos, I find them inspirational and educational.
Thanks for sharing! 💪
Three quick comments: 1) Your channel is the best on CZcams for kettlebell. 2) Your slow-motion shots are INCREDIBLY helpful for technique questions, and 3) I just finished one of your workouts, and felt like I wasn’t activating my hips enough in my H2H swings. I just realized you counterswing your opposite arm backwards, and that’s what I’ve been missing. Now it feels much more natural and powerful at the same time. Hope that helps someone else.
Great observation Clay! We call this the "Ghost Hand". It should mimic the leading arm and generate additional momentum. - Gregory
Live Strong. Thank you 🙏
You are an excellent teacher. I binge watched several of your videos this evening & am inspired. I've been following Pavel Tsatsouline's workout from his book, "The Quick and the Dead" for a couple of years & it has improved my overall conditioning but I've wanted to add something more & this helps.
I appreciate your feedback brother! Thank you! - Gregory
Good job. Lucid explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
You’ve earned my subscription. I appreciate the hard work you’re putting into these videos; they are a great help to me as I begin my kettlebell journey! I’ll try this workout this week and report back how it goes.
Welcome aboard Josh! Great to see it serves you value! - Gregory
The book/approach referenced at 2:52 is Anatomy Trains by _Thomas*_ Myers, for those who were confused like me
Admittedly, Michael Myers also knew a lot about anatomy
I'm 50 and just starting kettlebells. Really appreciate your instruction ❤
You got this!
You are the best💪🏻🔥
Appreciate the love Jose! - Gregory
Today startet my kettlebellweek - mostly with the 4 kg one!❤
Great video, thank you! Also at 6:08 - hello fur friend 😁
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
New subscription added! Thanks man. As im aiming for a 10k pb, i may not be able to spend hours on dumbells. This should help me for sure!
Thanks for the sub!
Michael Myers is good at dissecting anatomies
Your aim should always be at the "Snatch"
Nice moves
Thank you brother 🦍 💪🏼
You're welcome! - Gregory
The Trinity is a really great exercise. I was completely gassed the first few times I made it through . I found watching the video very helpful to hone better technique and perform it daily. Thank you sir!
Great job!
I have that same kettle bell
I love the Snatch, but I've never done that exercise.
Give it a shot! It‘s a beast of an exercise that can serve you well if you know how to tame it. 🔥
What helped me just like this gentleman said. Master the 3 trinity but after that do the high kettlebell swing. It's a great transition to locking out above your head. Snatch requires that extra snap from your lower body. Takes coordination but it makes workout fun 😊
It's a, so called, good video :) thanks
Cool, thanks
Man, im impressed with KB workouts. It looks so natural and anatomically make sense. While watching this video, i went "That looks like natural movements. A bit like everyday movements, to strentghten motions u perform on a daily basis. All of a sudden, weights in gym seem robotic and 'artificial'." Ive unsubscribed from gym, subscribed to channel! U have one convert😅
I’m giving a huge up vote for the dog
From what I learned, lifting your back foot during swings can be dangerous. If you struggle with that, Pavel suggests you lift the front of your toe. Just a friendly heads up
This is a technique, lifting your back foot is not dangerous and Pavel's advice doesn't count for everyone.
Thanks for this 'so called' good video with so many 'so called' tips and 'so called' tricks
Glad you "so-called" liked it! LOL
good
Cant wait add these to my two habded swing.
Thanks for the free content.
I will so called like the video for the so called algorithm to demonstrate my so called support
I'm so called grateful for the so called support!
What about the purple ones.? Those look nice.
I never understood this sharp exhaling that people do. I understand the benefits of box or triangle breathing for recovery but any kind of forced breathing pattern during anaerobic lifts has always felt like it's more work for the same results.
Mostly to sound cool.
It’s part of Pavel’s hard-style method. At lock-out the body is under tension, the forced exhale is due to the core being tense, if you breath out all nice and quiet you may lose your “kime”. It’s the exact opposite in girevoy sport which is all about reducing tension to a minimum.
He probably added it due to amount of people coming to learn KBs who had zero core activation and gluteal amnesia, etc, when they swing they hyperextend at lock out and end up with lower back pain after training.
Just came across your channel via this video... excellent content. is that a Deutsch-NYC accent? 😃
I guess so! I live in Switzerland and listened to lots of NYC-based rap in my younger days. :)
That snatch looked nice
hi gregory. i have a question for you. i've never trained with kettlebells and i'm thinking of purchasing one of your courses. are your courses specifically designed for competition kettlebells or it doesn't matter? my gym only has cast iron kettlebells
Thanks for asking Danilo! In the workout courses, it doesn't matter. The skill course however is designed to working with comps. - Gregory
Curious how heavy of a kettlebell you were using in this?
Mostly 16KG for demo purposes
Hello My friend. I have a question about the foot kick, is its important?
It‘s a reaction to the pendulum and a subtle technique that happens organically. It‘s rather automatic than important (if that makes sense). - Gregory
What are the advantages of the hand to hand swing vs the double hand swing ?
Also - great content !
I prefer single KB for 4 big reasons: 1. Cross-body pulling hits back and obliques more than a straight swing. 2. More natural stance and natural (narrower) width between knees for single. 3. Double KB snatch is impractical and far more dangerous to put two heavy weights overhead than one. 4. Less equipment needed for single KB because one is less than two ;) Just my opinion! GL 💪
@@skriabinfly hi, he meant double handed swings on a single kettlebell, rather than double kettlebell.
"holy trinity" LOL That got me! Nothing like a good idol-worshiping workout to really get your blood flame-boiled and ready for that fire!! Excellent workout!!
I don't believe I'm coordinated enough to do that swing footwork. The swing moves faster than my brain and my feet. I tried it once and almost fell. It also looks like it does away with the hip and knee lockout at the top of the swing. If there's a fitness advantage, I'd like to know what it is and how it works.
What do you prefer regarding the snatch?
Hardstyle or Girivoy competition style?
Both are fine! I prefer the GS though.
Thank you 😊
Arm should come out slightly to the side then press no?
Pavel instructs this
No. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Pavel is but only one source in the world of kettlebells. There's way more to learn out there.
Great exercises. Just wondering if its required to execute them without the so called exhaling blow sounds?
Breathing is one of the most important aspects of kettlebell training.
Can I do swing reps with one arm and then with the other, or do I need to switch?
Of course you can. - Gregory
@@lebestark-official Thanks! Great videos, although I'm almost 53 and can't do most of the exercises, but I stick to those that I can.
Lebe, would the Turkish Get Up be a close fourth in this list?
No; not in this list. - Gregory
Badabing badaboom.
Why do you need to do the hand insertion. Can’t you just keep the grip with the fingers around the grip instead partly on top ?
There‘s a reason we do this; it‘s the best technique to train with kettlebells. 🔥
I'll do these (so called) exercises with my (so called) kettlebell 👍🏻💪🏻
LOL Chris for catching me repeating the word "so-called" too many times! I thought so as well in the editing process! A typical "CZcamsr sickness". - Gregory
I swing, I swing, I swing in a new life with 67.
Hurray!
New life.
Life new!
Hmm now I'd have to churn up the confidence to try that in the apartment and have faith that I'll not kill myself and not destroy any of the furniture
I personally consider;
KB swing
KB good mornings
KB squat
The best leg day routine with kettlebells.
Bro should be sponsored by Kettlebell kings 😂
🎉
I’m gonna try these-with a lighter bell 😂
Do it! You got this! - Gregory
the groove of the press shouldn't be more of a J shape than I shape?
Move up in a straight line. Some deviation is normal and depends on other factors.
“So called”
Great video BUT, we want to meet your dog !
😃
The h2h swing are nothing i will try because i am afraid to drop the kettlebell.
I do it only outside, in a small garden close to my flat. Otherwise i do the classic One Hand Swing which, personally, I even prefer. SO you can do, for this workout, 1 minute with the left hand and one minute with right hand before moving to the next exercise.
Make sense ..
Ah, very interesting how that corkscrew manuever allows you to--- DOGGY! DOGGY DOG DOG DOG! WHO'S A GOOD WOOFERS? ARE YOU THE GREATEST WOOFERS? YOU ARE! YOU'RE THE LORD OF ALL GOOD DOGGIES!
LOOOL
yuh
Why switching hands? Imo there are no benefits to two handed swings expect the higher injury risks?
Unilateral training. H2H Swing > Two hand swing
@@lebestark-official my question was why. 😅 you just repeated yourself without answering
Wished he would go over the muscles used for each one ….
These exercises work the full body; with a special emphasis on the posterior chain of your body. (Lower back, hamstrings, glutes). If you switch from "traditional" lifting to kettlebells, you're mostly engaging into total body movements. - Gregory
Garmajoba, are you Sakartvelo?
I'm not brother; but I respect you guys for bringing out so much raw talent in sports! Greetings!
I'm not Kartuli myself, my ex girlfriend is and I've very much enjoyed their culture in the past :)@@lebestark-official
Dude sounds like the Bro Science Guy 😂
Dom Mazetti is my first cousin, bro!
Dats my cuz. *insert gun shots
Are you greek? You have the same accent as Alex Leonidas formerly known as AlphaDestiny
the clean could be a tad bit better but the snatch was, if not perfect, damn near perfect.
Is this guy breeding kettlebells ?
I eat them for breakfast
these are some really so called tips
No TGU? :P
No. There's a specific reason why. - Gregory
@@lebestark-official Why? :)
@@suxxa The Get Up (while it is awesome) can be done with any other training tool.
Swing, Clean & Jerk and Snatch (with high volume) on the other hand, are exclusively reserved for kettlebells.
@@lebestark-official Ok, you are right! Thank you.
This so-called video has so-called information about so-called technique that is useful to so-called athletes and so-called regular joes equally
Appreciate your so-called feedback!
Please educate me. This looks bad for the lower back.
Simple. It's not.
Kettlebell is incredible to strengthen your lower back. You will feel like you are floating when you walk. You will never have felt so nimble on your feet before.
Why Do You Stress Hinging, But You Don't Really Hinge.

This is absolutely not something a beginner should do!! 🙈🙈🙈 Does nothing for you, if you are not a trained, strong person with perfect form and stability. You can easily injure yourself. Better train your muscles progressively on the machines and do some cardion like biking or jogging.
We work with beginners all the time friend with no injuries and great results.
@@lebestark-official What results? This is not the way to gain muscles. There are much safer ways to start to build muscles. Like targeted training on machines in the gym, that can be done with slow movement, to really build the mind-muscle connection.
Results like improved cardiovascular output, less joint pain, better overall feeling, weight loss and building practical musle. Speaking of which, muscle is only one part of the picture.
@@lebestark-official It is not suitable and safe for beginners. There are so many things other than this, that will reach the same goals, with better results and more safety.
It is most definitely suitable for beginners. We work with people who never touched kettlebells (and weights) before in their life on a daily basis.
