Dropped crossfit and started training with kettlebells early 2020 (around 150 kb workouts per year ever since). I had experience with competition bells and was familiar with the basic movements. I went through a pretty typical journey from doing fancy flows to simple & sinister and other hardstyle stuff. Only recently got your program and it’s like nothing else I’ve done or even seen so far. Never before I’ve waited so eagerly for the next workout just to see what is coming up this time. So just want to say big thanks, and keep up the good work!

Joe, I’ve been following you for many years, and you are one of only two kettlebell CZcamsrs I follow. You come across as a humble man, which I find very attractive. Of course I’ll never develop the muscles you have, nevertheless I am strong (for my age) (profile pic was taken in 2015 I think when I was 77 or so). I watched your long cycle winning entrance and it’s one of my favourite clips. Perhaps play it again for those who dont know you. Perseverance and skill are the hall marks of a person who is worthy of admiration and respect.

Hey man, ive been following you since covid. We've exchanged jokes n stuff on Instagram here and there but in all seriousness you were a huge help for me when the gyms closed down. I learned about kettlebells and even better, HEAVY kettlebells. It really helped me get out of the 'barbells only' mindset.
I love hardcore, punk rock, sludge, metal...anything really, but especially the loud fuzzy stuff.

Thanks for the insight. A burning question: Your leg development is very impressive. Therefore I would like to ask, if you incorporate classic mass builders like barbell squats or even machines? Or did you just do maintenance work with kettlebells, having built up those quads with a bodybuilding (isolation??) approach? Maintenance work being Kettlebell assisted exercises like you show on your videos?
I am asking as my quads suck and squats only make my butt bigger.
    Thanks and greetings from Germany!

I am like you. Squats only make my glutes bigger. Somersault squats (invented by Joe AFAIK) with a kettlebell are a great quad isolation movement.

Have been training with kettlebells for over 20 years and competing in GS. I'm now over 50 and work a very physical job but I'm finding that my legs are a liability. I have pairs of kettlebells of 1 pood, 1.5, 2, and 2.5. I know I need to start doing some goblet squats but I don't really know what I'm supposed to do. Do sets until failure? I know programs for other body parts but legs are a bit beyond my experience. In the past, just doing jerks seemed good enough but I think I need to do some isolation work to make my legs feel as strong as the rest of my body
