As a blind person who is Transgender… I don’t see much difference in how I am treated by people who are Anti-Transgender or Ableism. Each group of people treat me as less human and not dateable and like a second class non-human. I too feel overwhelmed, dissociative, and emotionally exhausted! Between the two identities I sometimes feel I am relegated to outside of society. I am reading your book Blind Not Broken. And doing the work twice. I put in Transgender but not broken on the second time. This is helping me. Thank you for the book!

That sounds so useful in general for blind people but the ability to communicate from non-brail readers to brail readers is also so damn cool! And it looks like a cool tool that could be used for learning! I would like to see the ability to cover up the English letters so a learner can practice memorization without a crutch.

Funny. We kinda see the same thing. A world of black hearts spreading hatred and sowing division. A world of people who seek to cover up any light in the world with lies, fake news, misinformation. All I see is darkness with little specks of light shining through here and there only to quickly be swallowed up by more darkness.

If you ever happen to go to Italy, it's not a big museum but in Ancona there is a free tactile museum that was created by a blind couple exactly because they were frustrated about being unable to interact with most art pieces and you can touch everything in there. There's reproductions of famous statues and/or portions of them in the lower floor, and on the higher floor there's more modern ones + an exhibit that changes every now and then with quite a few different materials. Sighted people can be provided with a blindfold and they can get guided and touch the statues to try and figure out what they are, it's a really cool experience. I randomly happened upon it with my gf and we had a blast guiding each other and trying to figure out what we were touching. Another place that could be fun to visit is Wondr in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Some of the rooms have more of a visual component but a lot are very tactile and some even have a smell component (ex: there is a slide where you fall in a small pool of "marshmallows" that are marshmallow scented, a room where almost everything is covered in soft fur, one where the walls are made of two way sequins and such).
