Life has been so crazy busy, I didn't have time for anything. But I got another teaching job closer to home, now instead of driving 1 hour to work, it will be only 9 minutes 😊 I'm so happy, this was a one in a million chance and I got it. Well, maybe not that dramatic, but still this worked out amazingly well

My Fitbit said 10.25 miles, it's not always 100% accurate but it's safe to say it was at least 9 mile roundtrip, which makes it about 4.5 miles in? I'm actually going back this Friday (in 2 days), I'll be in Utah for 3 weeks and my first stop is Buckskin Gulch. I'm going to go in much deeper. I'm going to start first thing in the morning and take my dog with me. We will have to by pass Wire Pass trail by using the Connector trail, because she couldn't go down on the ladder Well, I got her a backpack where she gets I side and I can wear her as a backpack but she doesn't understand how to get in, she just lays on it 😆 if she can get in, then I'll go through the same way, if not, we'll bypass Wire Pass. I expect to hike in 8-10 miles hopefully and then turn around. There will probably be more water, hopefully nothing crazy to make us turn around.

@@Huntress308 Best of luck! I'll be hiking this as part of a larger road trip. I'm driving my truck from Massachusetts and off roading and camping off grid around Colorado and Utah for 15 days. I'm hoping to snag a camp spot at Stateline Campground right by the Wire Pass trailhead the night before and get an early start. Fingers crossed it all works out. Have a safe hike, hope you hit your goals!

@@Bryan-li8qi I camped at the Stateline Campground in March and that's where I plan on camping this time. I hope it won't be full, I'll arrive Saturday, which is probably the worst time lol. I have seen only 1 off grid camping spot in the area. Good luck, have a safe journey! It sounds like a little of fun!

Yes, I'm so happy with this. It's more expensive but it's perfect, in my opinion. And safe from animals, and the weather. Although a bear just ripped off the storage door , but that was at my house lol

@@Huntress308 yes Mam, a bear can rip through these campers ,but they literally bite people through side because of,,,,,,,,, Believe it or not,,,, the fruit fragrance soaps ATTRACT BEARS. People wash their hair in APPLE, CHERRY, and So on. The bears bite their head through the tent to EAT The fruit. Simple Math.

@@jackychandler8594 that's crazy but true. My problem was that the side storage door was open, so he swung it back and forth and he finally got mad and pulled it off. Opened the front storage and went through everything and ate a bunch of gummy bears and graham crackers.

Honestly I can't remember, this was about 3 years ago. It was over several days but only because I had to let the paint dry and cure between layers. The painting itself wasn't too bad. That was the shortest time, just a few hours at a time. The longest time was to prep it, wash it, sand it and then tape everything off. Once that was done, the painting was easy. Had a few friends there who made a barbecue and we even had some drinks, so it was actually a lot of fun.

Thank you so much! It's holding up great. I did this I think 3 years ago, there are no car washes since it's a feed truck but it's always sitting outside, under the sun, rain, wind and occasional snow. And cold weather. Haven't seen any fading or chips. I basically used 2 shades of green and brown, and either beige or black, can't quite remember, but I think I show them in the beginning of the video

Some of the hikes Iile so much, I want to do them again. At least I know what to expect, it's even better that way lol. For example there's a 13 mile hike near Moab, it's easy, even level and ends in a waterfall, I did that twice. I'll do this a second time, but I'll go much further.

We always held it in the flame when we were a little impatient but yes, I should have been careful not to burn it
