Thank you for this video. I was wondering why you cut multiple narrow planks of wood and went through all that process when you could have had one big piece. What's the reasoning?

This is similar to the way I’m planning to build shelves but wanted to see other ideas. The way my buddy showed me and a big change I’d make to yours is that I’d make the ends of the shelf panel flush to the ends and put plywood on the shelf before putting the next brace. This allows edge to edge shelf for staircase that’s not bins

Which rip guide did you use to cut out the top and bottom in the beginning? I could use the help making the straight cuts with my circ saw. Subbed

I have had the Dewalt cordless router for over a year. You can’t beat the power and portability. But it’s a Dewalt so you can’t go wrong. I love it.

I'm getting ready to build a work bench and I always see polepole use #9 2 1/2 deck screws. I have #8 2 1/2 deck screws. Is there a difference between #8 and #9 deck screws?

I know this was 3 years ago, and you were just new to CZcams but I have to say that you did an amazing job of explaining your process. Also your volume and music was not OVERPOWERING like so many other creators videos. The build was very easy to follow. And your plans are simple and clear, and adding in the part where you show the best way to maximize your 2x4’s was a very considerate addition. I took bits and pieces from your plans and made it my own. And that was the BEST part of this design, a very solid simple design that can be expanded on. MUCH APPRECIATED.

Even without a planer you can go for a rougher look that will pop with the right stain, I will be building a smaller version of this and honestly will consider building countertops with this design

Just downloaded free plans, great, here in the UK , total cost of timber, decking and 2x2 is £80, April 2024, my wifey thinks lm made of money!! yeah but if you cannot do it for her in doors, there's no point, just do, and get a cup of tea whilst doing.
