- This is my most useful shop table can be built in 1 hour using only 2x4s, screws, and a set of 4 wheels. Use pocket screws if you want to hide the screws or drill them straight in if you don't. Fast, easy and a really useful table.

Looks so strong and sturdy, good job, and thanks for the free plans
Thanks, just what I needed to set up an old Craftsman table saw. Like the way this came together.
You are 25 years old and a way better wood worker than I am. Started last week and after 19 attempts I got a bandsaw box, not really it was horrible. Good job
Other than a news channel, this is my first subscription and I'm an avid DIYer/finish carpenter/woodworker who watches QUITE a few YT videos on those subjects. Despite that, this video of the French cleat wall was not only what got me to do so but is only the second of your videos I've seen. That was what really did it.
Having subscribed, I see you have a lot of videos available which interest me. It's a good thing I'm retired so I can have plenty of time to watch them.
Thank you for creating these great videos. I've watched most of your videos and initially I had an idea how to setup the garage. However, after watching this video I'm thinking of making everything modular and adding two tables on the sides ass extensions. I like this table for a Mitre saw and a planer. Keep making these great videos.
Cool little shop table. I definitely have a good use for a couple of them. Thanks. Jim
Another great video - thanks so much. And for the plans!
Thanks Zack. Gonna do this!
Great animations! (such as the table legs)
You do a great job with your videos. Thanks!
Looks good and simple.😘
Great little work bench.
Great video's!! Plus free plans!!! You are a GOOD MAN!!! Thank you.
Excellent video, will use and adapt for new workshop. Thank you!
BMB, I’ve just found your videos and this one is a great help. Thank you.
Cool Table!!!! Thanks Dude!!!!
I appreciate your eye for precision and aesthetic. What shouldn’t it look good to even if it is just for a shop. I look forward to seeing more projects. 👍
I built this table 3 weeks ago since I was tired of having back pain from working on the ground. I love it!! Only thing I hate is I didn't buy the best 2x4 so there are some gaps on the table, but it's a workbench it's supposed to get messed up
Love your videos. I completed a planter box for my first project. Can’t decide what to try next!
I am buying a Lathe. I think this will be the perfect table for it. Now will have to pay someone to build it for me. (I built a bird house the other day and had to tell the birds what it was) Thanks, Love you videos
Thanks for the plans, I’m going to adapt this to make a table for my router table
thank you for having closed captioning!!
I like it!!
Great video. Just subscribed. I’m going to modify this to fit the height to use as small outfeed table for my job site table saw and add a bottom shelf for a small air compressor (if it will fit). Thanks for the inspiration and plans.
Nice work.
Just what I was looking for.
Thanks!!!
I just bought a planner that is about 100 lbs...I'm not 6' 4" and I'm not all that young. This build is perfect for the shop.
Thanks again.
I was looking for a simple table for my 13" planer and I found it. Simple build and rolls out of the way when I'm done with it. Thanks for the plans.
I am going to build this and use them on my back deck
New to woodworking and this will good start. I have made small thing with out plans. This will be a first.
Thanks good video.
I'm a new sub and really enjoying your work.
Have to give up a table I’m using for my sander and grinder. This will be great (maybe a little longer and taller since I’m 6’4)!!!!
I only have 1 question ? How is it you're never dirty in the shop ? I just spent and entire day building your modular work benches 5 of them. and I'm Covered is saw dust and sweat, afterwards. And you are just as clean as when you started.
Keep up the good work.
Trust me I get plenty dusty cutting stuff
Great video. The Catch-22 of workbenches seems to be that you need a workbench or two to make one. Any tips on how to get a basic setup built when you're just starting out, with few tools, no power tools, and a bit of garage floor?
I’d recommend buying a drill, circular saw, tape measurer, and some clamps. That will definitely get you started. You can just work on the garage floor(where most everyone starts). If you’re going to make a cut with the saw use a 4’x8’ sheet of foam insulation between the floor and your wood so your blade will only cut through the foam
@@BearMountainBuilds Many thanks for the great reply. I'll use those instructions 👍
What screws to secure do you suggest if not doing the pocket hole method ?
I’d recommend 2-2.5”
Zach, this isn't a criticism just a question. I downloaded the free plans for this because I am just starting my shop and have a lot of new tools that don't have anything to sit on. I've downloaded a few of your free plans because you do very good work even if the music is a bit distracting. On this build though I have actually 2 questions. 1) wouldn't it be better if you made the table top out of plywood instead? For the flat surface and because as a workbench, eventually, you'll want to replace the top? And 2) building the top what are the last set of pocket holes for? I can't see where those would attach to anything. If those are an oops fine, if not what do they attach to?
Great videos, solid plans and much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Do you plain the 2x4s on one side for the table top?
I generally take an 1/8” off each of the four sides
The plan won't load! Tried several times! Thanks!!!
I can’t seem to find the 1/4 x 1/2 inch lag screw washer combos you suggest using for the wheels. Did I hear the dimensions wrong? Could you link to the screws you like? Thank you!
They are 1-1/2 in lag screws not sure they make half inch ones.
Did you coat it with a natural satin polyurethane?
Yep
Question, I am 6,000 in on tools and haven't sold anything at all yet, should I quit?
Sounds like you need to buy another tool
The only way you won't sell anything is if you quit. That's the way I am looking at it. You have to actively promote your work. Just putting it on Market Place, hoping someone sees it won't go well for sales. I'm looking at the local businesses and asking if I can display my wares, once they are made of course, and have found several that have said that when I bring things in they will let me display them.
Also, in my town, the dept of commerce has a shop that displays and sells the work of local crafters . And for goodness sake, put your name or your business' on ALL of your work. Also, one last thing, when you display the pieces, dress them up . Put flowers in your planters, hang ivy on your trellises, and put knickknacks into your trays and boxes. People have a problem visualizing what items are for in many cases. Show them.
Brand new to woodworking, LOTS of experience with selling and marketing.
Hang in there.
Why didn't you glue the frame? That's the most important part to be secure.
You only do that in side the video not for reference in the bottom or in your website
Why do you not list the the exact dimensions of the boards and the quantities
All of that is listed in the plans I have linked in the description
Those casters are £99 from Amazon in the uk 😢
There are several other 4” castor wheels on Amazon maybe there’s something that’s cheaper
excellent6 content - dump the music
Nah fuck that. Keep the music
I disliked the video so much I pressed the dislike button twice lol. Ok I lied, I enjoyed it. Straight forward, no fluff, just earned a new subscriber
Haha you had me worried there for a second. Glad to have you!!
