Thanks for watching! I rewatched this a year latter and I’m really understanding why people are saying the music is a bit bothersome. It gets old after awhile. I can assure you that my video and music quality has improved greatly so please subscribe!
Music was fine IMO, and the content was great. Keep 'em coming!
Your channel is very entertaining. Don't worry about the music. Your content is very informative. More people will care about that
Actually I didn't notice the music, I paid more attention you the task at hand.
I would not normally complain about background music in a video, unless it is particularly obnoxious or it drowns out the informations being provided.. The information provided is more important to me that the backhround music. However, I find that I prefer videos that have no, or very low volume, background music, and I am more likley to subscribe to and revisit that type of video. Having said that, it's your channel, so your choice.
If you use the name bear mountain, it should be bear mountain picnic by Bob Dylan. That's why I clicked on this.
From am old woodworker to a young woodworker…..please, please start using eye and hearing protection when using all cutting power tools. Please trust me with this advice. It also sets a great example to the new guys.
I like the build and am considering making one myself. The two things I would (will) add is dust collection and a tight fitting drawer under the saw for extra blades and blade wrenches. 😊
Thanks for the video..the music is a bit much but still a great job. Thanks
From old woodwork, very nice job you really don’t need the background music. The most enjoyable things I did in the shop was building stuff for the shop. I enjoyed the video !
Editor Here, the music, use it sparingly and mix it up with other tracks. the animation is great.
Almost finished with my miter saw table. This is only my 3rd build and am learning a lot. Old dog new tricks. I am waiting for the knob kit to arrive so I can finish up. I modified the size to fit my tight space and had to go with white melamine because I couldn't find anyone with black in my area but it'll work all the same. I'll post pics when I am done. Thanks for the instructions!
Love it! Keep it up!!
Loved your explanation. I want to build one.
Thanks, great plans!
Nice clean build. 👴🏻Wilber
I love that you are making practical projects that don't break the bank. Don't require hardwood and Festool. Keep it up. Oh, and thanks for changing the music in future.
I think I've binged my way backwards through this build, but I genuinely LOVE how simple yet totally practical these tables and benches are. No pretentious over engineering, just simple designs that are entirely customisable. New work top required? Unscrew and replace. New drop saw with different dimensions? Replace the section specific to it between the cabinets. Designs that grow with your shop that don't need to be fully rebuilt are the best. Best believe I have these videos saved for when I get space for my own full time workshop.
You read my mind!
Excellent video. I'm going to build this for my outdoor patio shop area. One thing you might consider...seal your concrete with a couple coats of concrete sealer. It make clean up much easier and looks nice to boot. Thanks for the video.
I used your basic plan to build my miter saw bench, I have a similar tool chest. I used only wood I reclaimed from pallets including the plywood top. I made it mobile with castors as I have very limited space and that will allow me to do longer projects. Thank you for sharing. Wish I could attach a picture.
You handled the volume of the music well. I could hear everything you said because its volume dropped while you were speaking. It isn’t my kind of tune but if it really got to me I can turn off the volume altogether and turn on captions. Just finished fabricating a new fence for my saw. I will probably make this station in the future. I am an ‘over 60’ grandma and am finishing up building an addition for my laundry room.
Hello from Canada Zack. I want to send you a thank you for the GREAT video. I know this was 3 years ago, and you were just new to CZcams but I have to say that you did an amazing job of explaining your process. Also your volume and music was not OVERPOWERING like so many other creators videos. The build was very easy to follow. And your plans are simple and clear, and adding in the part where you show the best way to maximize your 2x4’s was a very considerate addition. I took bits and pieces from your plans and made it my own. And that was the BEST part of this design, a very solid simple design that can be expanded on. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Being a metal building guy, this channel is great for the bare bones wood working I’m starting to get into. You’re killing it! Happy I found your channel 🙏🏼
One of the better videos I've viewed on CZcams. All should be of such quality. Thank you.
I have just started getting serious about wood working and have found your video's very easy to follow and the plans are awesome. Thanks
Wow, that intro just never ended :)
The graphic with the boards and where to put them is awesome! 👏🏻
Good Looking Miter Saw Table I Will Bulid One Good VIDEO
I think you are doing a good job wecome to wood working
Very clear directions! I feel like I can go build one of these on my own!
Crystal clear. That you don’t charge for the accompanying plans is amazing. Thanks very much. I’d be very interested in your thoughts for dust control on this table.
Great Video thanks for the plans. Only thing I would say is slow down a little bit and come up with some better music
Again thanks
Great job!
Great job
I love it, thanks for the help 👍🏻
Very well thought out with great directions.
Excellent guidelines for building an inexpensive yet effective miter center! I downloaded and can’t wait to get this built for my new workshop. Thank you 😊
I've been wanting to build a bench just like this. Well done. I'm going to get your plans and get into it.
Thank you.
Great job
BRO IT IS FREAKING AWESOME !
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Man I love your builds... I am going to use your design and tweak it a little by adding the toggle clamps you used on your modular workbench into the miter saw station. That way I can move the miter saw away from the station itself outside and connect to the tables as well in my 24x50 workshop. This gives me so many ideas. Especially for my 12" cutech jointer for long boards. Thank you brother!!! Keep making content. O... love the free plans... too generous. I would have paid 10 bucks a piece for them to be honest!
Thank you for your free plan.
Sure is nice to see a young woodworker with so much knowledge. Explained and demonstrated very professionally!
Thanks for sharing your plans for free. I looked at several other plans but chose this one because of the open bottom design that allowed me to slide in my mobile table saw cart. For this beginner, plan was easy and directions were clear. Thank you so much!
Great easy build... thank you for the plans
Great job.
Great build, looking forward to check out all your videos.
This is so cool. I definitely need to build this.
Just finished the miter table I like it 😊
Zach thanks for the plans. Appreciate you!
Awesome build, hopefully I will be able to build this in my work area.
Zach, great idea and thanks for the plans.
Great build love it 😊
Best one I have seen. I will be using this design to build mine! Thank you for the work that you have put in!
Looks like a great table. I like the laminate top-slick!
great video loved the build
You do great work
You're doing great and thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge.
Great build
I realize this is an older video, but it just showed up on my feed. Since you asked, I think you did something that was fantastic in your editing. The idea of showing the design coming progressing as you build it with animated graphics--keep that coming. Perhaps even add a design review with graphics in the beginning, sort of like a walk through. Enjoyed the video and definitely picked up a few ideas for my miter station.
I've learned a lot from you. Just bought a new miter saw but was very unhappy with the bulky miter tables in the stores. I can't wait to build your model. Thank you so much for the coaching!
Love your projects and Videos!
This Miter Saw Table looks awesome. It is just what I am looking for. I have just started to build my own woodworking shop and this Miter Saw Table for me is a must. What I really like is that you designed it to take a roll away tool chest as I have one too and this will be perfect for my needs. Many years ago I acquired quite a few sheets of 3/4" plywood so I am going to use that and glue some black Laminate on top of that to make the table top (Hope that works). This is going to be a learning experience for me. Thanks again!
Simple yet sturdy. Nice build. Thanks.
merci beaucoup pour tout !!!
Thank you for the free plans I like it because it’s a lot cheaper than buying plywood in can still put plywood on the front and drawers thank you so much
Love the extra explanation using animation! Thank you this clarifies a lot, probably building a similar bench soon.
Great work and God bless you. Bottom line
Great project! Wish I had room for that amazing build! Great job "for just starting out" ... would never know that if you hadn't said so! Keep up the good work sir!!
From Gettysburg PA 😇
excellent video
Thanks for this video! I’m gonna try to build this.
Awesome video. Downloaded your plans and would like to thank you for taking the time to add metric measurements to the plan. This is going to be my first big build of the festive season. Cheers!
great job, excelent video
Great content really enjoy watching your skills
Great build, I have found that 3 pocket holes are stronger one on each side and one on the face. Thank you for the plans.
Looks good keep up the good work. I’m just getting into wood working myself.
Love it!!! Nice work. Learning lots with your videos! 😀
I love the look of your assembly workbench and now you’re table saw/mitre station workbench. You’ve sold me on a new pocket hole jig. Thank you for sharing!
Zach, Just a thought but how about maybe building some kind of platform behind the fence to allow for a toolbox or maybe some kind of shelving?
I absolutely love this table layout. I'm probably going to do mine with a white melamine board (It's what's available) for this build. I'm considering using melamine for the modular workbenches as well.
Thank you for the plans! The color-coding makes it so easy! Loved you video!
Good work thanks
Nicely Done,thank you!
Very nice idea...good job
Excellent presentation.
Makes me wish I had my old house back so I could build your amazing miter saw table. (That pocket hole jig sure makes your work look professional.) My favorite line: "This is also where I found out how uneven my shop floor is."
Yes, great video. I love the look of the new miter saw bench.
Great video
Great job brother
I really enjoyed the video. Thanks!!
Hey Zack, really great design.
Your doing great bud
Nice job! Good Luck
Excellent demonstration and instructions. As many woodworkers often do when looking for a new shop project, I watch many different craftsman for ideas. I just downloaded your plans and looking forward to this project. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the tutorial!!! Subscribing!!!
This is the second time I’ve watched your channel and I have learned a few things and liked the products that you are making. I even purchased the Kreg pocket hole deluxe package for some previous jobs I’ve made and will be nice to use it again with some of your plans that I downloaded, thank you by the way. Also thank you for sharing your passion with all of us, as I can speak for most of us. We love woodworking, getting out of the house and build something with our own two hands. You have made it easier for us to do that!
I like your video style. Good job on this build.
Nice job and I enjoyed watching the construction. Thank you.
Nice design. I need to build a mitre saw bench and have downloaded your plans to go over. Thank you for the clear instructions and plans. Keep up the good work and good luck with the channel. 😁
Great table. Thanks for the video
Good job with the video and instructions. I'm looking forward to watching more. Thank you
