Is there a mod that adds new game plus? This video kind of made me want to replay it, but I don't want to redo all that grinding.

How is FF10 one of the best games of all time? First, they have another Sepheroth clone, ecause all bad guys need white hair with a fraction of the appeal of Sepheroth. Second, Una's appearance looks derivative of Rinoa but with no interesting characteristics. Her interactions with the main character are aweful, especially the part where they scream together. That will always stand out as one of the worst momments in gaming history with a Tripple-A title. There's no real character development, and the emotional connection between characters is nonexistent yet I'm supposed to believe that the main character cares about Una... or that any of the characters care about any of their traveling companions. Third, Aaron is a bland nothing who plays the part of "Mr. Mysterious" but only comes off as an idiot. Once you find out more about who and what he is, it inspires an eye roll. Fourth, none of the characters were compelling. FF7 had great characters. FF8 had great characters. FF9 not so much. FF10... not at all. From the first few minutes, I found the main character annoying. Then the player meets Wakka, and I truly hoped that Wakka was just a random NPC, but NO, he's a party member. Fifth, FF10 abandoned the open world aspect of the game entirely. There was no real exploration. Sixth, it's great that they have in depth information and history all built up for each location in the game, but instead of uncovering these details about the world in the form of gameplay, we get it dictated to us by some old fart that follows us wherever we go. But what's more disapointing is that even if they did this with gameplay, you'd merely be uncovering a world with no appeal. Seventh, the religion in the game is just terrible. And the puzzles in the game aren't really any reason why anyone picks up a Final Fantasy game. Eighth, that stupid water sport they play is far too integrated into the game, and there even comes a point to where you're absolutely forced to play the stupid thing. People hated being forced to play the mini games in FF7 and most especially in FF9. Hell, plenty of people who played FF9 never got past that mandatory card game, and opted to play something else. Why Squaresoft thought it'd be a good idea to do it again is just bizzare to me. Fortunately, I got past the part where the water sport was mandatory, but when Copped Off Horn Head Wookie goes to the mountain and fights his fellow Wookies... I got bored. On multiple occasions I picked this game up and really tried to give it another shot, but every time I reach that spot... I get bored and stop playing. Ninth, the leveling up process to this game are aweful. Some of the leveling up system is found in other Final Fantasy games, but with more depth. But in FF10 it was just... meh. The only pro I can think of is how Squaresoft abandoned the prerendered backgrounds and opted for a full 3D experience for this title. But that has more to do with technical aspects of the game and does nothing for the gameplay experience.

That ultra HD Tidus face mod is wearing too much eye shadow lol. Poor Tidus either gets the Botox treatment or manscara'd.

These were only texture mods. I was hoping for a new threat or moguri mod.

They killed ff when they made it a arpg hack and slash game, its the tactics that made it what it was. This is by far my favourite final fantasy

As far as the face swaps go, you missed the most important detail. The reason we swap their faces for the PS2 version, the reason we care that they changed their faces at all isnt the way the model looks, or the texture resolutions The reason the old face is better is because of FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. Tidus and Yuna had very expressive faces in the PS2 version, and the HD versions made them much more rigid, cutting these details

The old turn based combat is played out and would flop, but persona and like a dragon are two big examples of modern turn based rpgs properly.

FFX Remaster is always one of the first games I buy for a new system starting with my own PS3, and always gets a new playthrough every year. But I never really got used to the cutscenes in the remaster so I always find myself going back to the PS2 version (also, always right around Mushroom Rock). First with the undub patch, the widescreen hack, and now with the HD texture upscale pack, (and custom ReShade presets) it's the best way to experience FFX again and again

One of my most beloved RPG games ever. Final Fantasy X. I will for sure check this video and try this experience.

The undying FF of legend the one and only that will forever and ever be in our hearts ! 💗 That blitzball kid mod tho got me rolling 😂😂🤣 Also one additional mod I may suggest though I don't remember if I tested it on FFX is called Reshade it works with most games and gives a superb modern graphics look to any game and is a super simple 1 click install. It gives you plenty of options to download and enable/disable at will like Bloom, HDR, DoF etc. Now I don't know which leak to believe about whether they secretly working on a remake, a X-3 sequel or neither nor do I know which is a better idea in practice but we for sure crave more content about this title though if it's something that completely goes away from its root and pisses on the original like X-2 then pls no.

Tidus has a very punchable face, I don't think anyone will miss his face, PS2 or Remastered.

Is it possible that all of Biggs wedge Zac Marlene and even aeriths 2nd mom are actually all dead and sent into the current world to serve out a purpose? Because everyone here we see die except for the mom and Marlene, only thing is I wonder if only cloud could actually see them, just wondering if anyone else had though that

I understand the in Japanese his name is pronounced as Tee-Doos, but it sounds weird in English context making it sounds like you're talking about "tiddies". This is the main reason why they use Tie-Doos when in English context. Just saying.

i just kept the original game on pcsx2 with texture mods. the faces are restored in the pc version but not the facial motions. The other games i switched to pc

I thought I was the only one that preferred the old ps2 face models as all my friends preferred the new faces and even they are bigger ffx fans than I am.

Great video. :) I’m the original creator for the better textures. As a small infobot: the old V1 version was done with Waifu upscaler, the last one was completely redone using a custom AI model using ESRGAN as a base. ;)

I have this game on my laptop and all of FF7 remake games I just wish they would remake Vincent’s Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII but they are planning to remake this game and I’m hoping it is made like they’ve done FF7 remake

I don't care if the PS2 model is low res, the HD look is so derpy to the point it makes me distracted in every cutscene. Whoever did the mod you are a GODSEND.
