Also if you get a solid snag with a heavy siwash, you aint gonna straighten that hook and get the spinner back.

Sometimes a large single can make the whole spinner spin, rather than just the blade. Thats not a good action, and it twists line. (I dont like using swivel for spinners). But sometimes they run fine with single.

Make sure to keep them well Oiled. Fish on ! BTW, fluoro line is stiffer than Mono which is better used on big spinning reels. Lighter Braid is better for lighter baits.

Tough one out there. These boats are really tough to get back into once your are out. Good thing the log was there to help with leverage. Fish on!

Old vid but I figured I’d pay my respects to the Tatula 100. It’s my favorite reel on the boat. Ironically it casts further than my Tatula CT(which is larger). I can throw a 5XD crankbait what feels like a mile with this reel

Great review, I ended up with the bass raider…yeah putting the motor on the front allows you way better control…I too like standing while fishing so built a casting deck and it made a world of difference…you can store all your stuff under it allowing for even more space on the 10footer….great job man, do you still have it or did you get something new?

Hey Joe I've been using baitcasters for over 30 years and you will get used to useing them and the reels your useing from diawa are excellent and the way they make them these days if you set them up right you won't backlash. The diawa reels are almost impossible to backlash you definitely picked good reels. Hey Joe it doesn't seem that you have not been using them for a long time. Good casting bro. Hey there, I do a ton of kayak fishing and crossing the lake sucks but still need to get it done sometimes, anyways try using a 31 serials battery and that should give u longer run time. Look for a battery that has a higher ah like a 98ah or 110ah

Imaging slipping and hitting your head and being knocked out? Spending hundreds of dollars on all the electronics but don’t have a life jacket or even a simple oar or paddle? Question. Most Rooster Tail hooks are bronze but you replace with a nickel hook. Do you feel that doesn’t decrease bites? I’ve read nickel might be too flashy in really clear water.
