- On the first day of my trip east through the desert of central and eastern Oregon and Washington, I stop at multiple fishing holes along the Columbia river, first at the mouth of the John Day river, and later at the mouth of the Snake river. While my success was limited, I learned some new places, and the scenery in this part of the country is stunning.

Hey JF brother, just a constructive comment, in my opinion you are fishing your lures too fast. I know that for Bass is different from fishing for Crappie, however spite of all the technical stuff, you must go by feel. I learned at a young age of six , patients is everything and to catch a fish; you must think like a fish. Another thing, use the wind to your advantage. Will you consider doing a trailer on Crappie fishing, you will love it. Peace brother.
