Okay... it took me a while to get here, but I've been wanting to tune in to this video since I saw your initial post. I'm guilty of not putting up many goals this year or last. LOVED following along with your goals chart last year... make sure you make another chart and keep at it along the way!
Would be awesome to see you hit that 500 mark! I think I hit 500 in 2016, but thanks to illness, deaths, and the job from hell in 2017, my total was reduced to less than 270!
Sadly, due to the continuance of the job from hell in early 2018, I didn't even keep count! But I'm nearly certain that it was less than 270.
This year I have 3 so far, but with a new biggest-ever on precious metals, and a very good looking weekend coming up, I'm very optimistic... and did I mention that we're heading to Mexico in 9 days, where the Lake Comedero Resort FB page is reporting 40-55 fish per day per boat? Dude... you have no idea how stoked I am at the prospect of seeing Mandy fighting a 7+ lber after the year she's had.... she SO deserves a couple/few GIANT bass!
Get after those goals... and make sure to get that Wa license next week.
Dude you guys are both going to absolutely crush it in Mexico! I can't wait to get pics and video of both of you with huge fish

@@pdxfishing6840 Definitely, water is getting warmer. Should maybe hit the gorge or something?
JoelFishes I've been wanting to hit the gorge but I don't trust my small ass boat in any Columbia water lol I've had some luck in Hartman pond tho, the small pond right before Multnomah falls heading east on 84. But that was later in the year last year, never been there this early in the year
@@pdxfishing6840 Hartman Pond is nice but it's got a LOT of small fish and not much else. I'm with you obviously, I'm in the plastic raft, the Columbia isn't an option. I've got a handful of shore spots on the Columbia that legit produce though, if you ever wanna do that.

Having goals for fishing makes it that much more fun. We both have very similar goals including number of fish caught as well as catching fish with new styles of baits. Good luck in your tournaments and hopefully I can pick up some tips about tournament fishing as I hope to start doing some of that soon.
Aren't you already tournament fishing?
Oh no. I am only 15. So far all I can do is just pretend I am fishing in a tournament. I guess its good practice?@@JoelFishes
