Here’s your recipe!
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 8z can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
1 TSP dried parsley
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
1 can crescent rolls
2 TBS parmesan cheese, grated
Set oven to 350. Brown ground beef and drain. Add onion, salt, oregano, garlic powder, tomato sauce and water. Simmer 5 minutes and pour into pie pan or 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. In small bowl, combine parsley, cottage cheese and mozzarella. Separate dough into 4 rectangles and press perforations to seal. Spread 1/4 cheese mixture on each dough rectangle. Roll up from short side and cut each into 3 pieces making 12 pinwheels. Arrange slices on meat mixture and sprinkle parmesan over the top. Bake 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

Nothing like Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, love them since my childhood!!! Another fantastic recipe my Soul Sista!!!
Many thanks my beautiful soul sista!
I love crescent rolls! 🥐🥐🥐🥐🥐
My mom used Pillsbury Crescent Rolls to make something close to 7 Layer Bars --- press out crescent rolls on sheet pan and top with coconut, walnuts, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and top with sweetened condensed milk and bake. I loved the caramelized almost burnt little bubbles of the milk. They may have been 7 Layer Bars and I jut can't remember what else she added to make 7 layers.
Edit (becuase I posted before the video was over): This looks _SERIOUSLY_ delicious! Everything you make (that doesn't have anchovies) is fantastic, but this is one I need to make this week. Looks _SO_ good!
Does anyone else remember Wiener Wraps? Sorta like these, came in a tube, but they had a cheese flavor and you wrapped them around hot dogs and baked them. It was one of those things easy enough for dad to make when mom wasn't around to cook.
Oh that recipe sounds so good! I do make the 7 layer bars with the classic graham cracker crust but wow, crescent rolls sound fabulous! You will love this! Let me know when you make it!
Oh wow! I do remember wiener wraps! Loved them as a kid! Thank you so much for the memory and have a great weekend!
Jill!!!!!! Crescent Pinwheel Lasagne how fabulous I am stunned and amazed and I'm making this for sure!!!!!!
Patrick!! You must try this one! Your belly will be so happy!!
How cool that you're a 1965 edition! I was a junior in high school then. I love listening to all of the stories you tell and am very impressed how well you fit them in between giving instructions and cooking. You're so much fun and you have such a happy voice and friendly demeanor that it's impossible not to feel happy too as I watch and listen. I love the retro feel of these videos. They are a highlight of my day.
Hi Linda! Wow! You have made my day! Thank you so much for such kind words. I was so moved that I read your comment to hubby. :) I am so honored that you are here! Have a wonderful weekend!!!

I miss the old theme song. :(
Btw, if you are ever in need of a laugh I recommend you checkout B. Dylan Hollis. His whole schtick is checking out crazy looking recipes from old cookbooks. Success or failure, he’s always funny. He mainly does shorts on Tic Tok, but has posted some content here on youtube, including a few longer form entries that are well done.
Thank you so much!
