this is a world class, restaurant grade pasta dish my friends! An explosion of Italian flavors : spicey, salty, savory deliciousness. i did add a glass of red wine to the sauce for a touch of sweetness. Jill, you are so charasmstic! ❤️ your channel
Iggypop!! I am so happy you tried it! And especially that you loved it! I think adding a glass of wine would be perfect. I truly think it's one of the best pastas I've ever had. My friend Ian and his family just left this morning, they were here for a week and it was so wonderful hanging out with them again! I will definitely pass on your glowing review to Ian! I premix my sauce and pasta. I just eat alone so for me it's just to make sure they get used up together. But if I did have a family, it's one way to make sure somebody doesn't use up all the sauce on just one or two plates of pasta and everybody gets some. Growing up, my step father (and maybe myself too) were guilty of that.
As men that believe everything tastes better in a Martini glass, that caught our attention first. Great recipe, following the story in your book 🍸

Hi Jill, That linguine dish of Ian’s looks yummy with the addition of the olives. Unfortunately my grandkids would not eat it because of the olives and capers because they are extremely fussy but the adults sure would !m Thanks for sharing… I have been remiss in purchasing your cookbook. Looks amazing! Question - since I can’t handle unprocessed tomatoes (it’s weird, I know), do you think a little tomato sauce and/or paste + eggplant would work as substitute?
