  • What makes some people pursue greatness while others are content settling for less? Having built one of the best physiques to ever walk the planet, Dorian Yates has a depth of insight into this question that far surpasses research, or what most people might believe.
    Dorian has transitioned from champion bodybuilder to spiritual entrepreneur and in today’s episode Ben and Dorian discuss that transition, the mindset shift, depression, plant medicines, and how Dorian reinvented himself, his challenges in letting go of his old identity, and how to step into your personal greatness.

      @@bigbaba4542 I always think the same thing. Like he has to get bored or annoyed over the redundancy of the questions. You know he's probably like could you ask me stuff about my current life and or even the last ten years of his life. I mean I'm not trying to take away anythingthis man has done. Cuz he's done great things for the body building industry. But there's more to him and many others than just I pick things up and I put them down and mind muscle connection. That's why I like Fuad's podcast. It's more of a friendship level kind of. And just real conversation

      @svennerick Před 2 lety +3

      Dorian is my favourite bodybuilder and probably the only person I idolize but all those recent interviews don't show anything new. Maybe there isn't much to talk about if your success was built by doing the same thing over 13 years and the interviewers keep asking about failure training and mindset. I would love to hear what advice Dorian would give to young people who want to bodybuild, like I'd love to get some advice on how to get an income, while studying and lifting. Kinda the things that have to be given before you can really go balls out with that lifestyle. Maybe if you want to hear more stuff about HIT you can watch some Jordan Peters Interviews like I did this week.

      Lol, I know ppl who are full time students, that also work jobs and lift weights at the highest level, sure if your working it’s prob going to be alittle harder then devoting ur whole life to it, like a pro who makes money would, but you can def. Come up with a workout plan that fits your work schedule pretty easily, to simply it, do upper body 1 day, lower body the next, hell you could even do full body routines if you had to, with ample recovery time in between, imo that’s the easy part, the harder part is eating 5-6 clean meals a day but even that’s easy, using protein shakes, meal prepping etc, make large amounts of the food ur gonna eat and divide it up thru the day

    How is DY HIT different from Mike Mentzer's HIT method?

    • @krystofodehnal9448
      @krystofodehnal9448 Před 2 lety

      DY HIT is more volume and frequency. DY´s is basically bodypart once a week, 1-2 warm up sets, 1 set to failure or behind, slow negative, explosive positive part of the rep. Mentzer´s is about 7-10 days between single workouts, training a bodypart about once a month with super slow reps etc. Long story short - DY´s actually works unlike Mentzer´s :D

    • @johnlammergeier2890
      @johnlammergeier2890 Před 2 lety +1
