I really enjoyed your interview with a great body builder Robby Robinson one of the best body builder in the 70s one of my favorite him and Albert beckels serge nubret pat nerves and more my opinion all the body builders from the 60s and 70s were and still is the best Robby keep it up my friend
When I saw muscle builder sept 79, with Robby Robinson on the cover, I thought I was looking at a superhero; I use to collect comic books growing up. I began training soon after that. Though, I'm of African descent and tend to look up to bodybuilders of African descent I became a huge fan of Dorian Yates when I saw an article and picture of him in Musclemag April 91. Two G.O.A.T 'S in the physique game.
Good to see Dorian doing this, London Real went to rat shit for a good UK podcast. Got much more confidence in Dorian doing it right. Apart from what he accomplished in his BB career obviously which was phenomenal, he's also a good man with good principles. Keep it up Dorian 👍

@@winstrolchurchill821 yes that is exactly how you could describe him, like a Lex Luther type character. And he did show his true colours in the end. On the plus side he did bring out many great people into public view as well, like Dorian. But life often has a funny way of progressing at times.

Oh I remember brian now he used to have a decent show but then he started running this really cringe campaign for mayor. I kept seeing these like super cringe ads of him wearing this stupid suit. Looks like he had it tailored to try and make him look muscular xDDD it looked so fake and superficial and completely un relatable that I doubt anyone ever voted for him on that basis alone!

Id love to see Dorian invite Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Lou Ferr, Arnold, even Jon Jones now that he is body building. Im sure ratings would be huge with any of these gus

Robby is easily one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time and arguably has the best biceps of all time. I’ve seen him ranked No. 1 on many “ Best Biceps of All Time “ lists and videos. His peaks and heart shaped biceps were out of this world. Only a few bodybuilders in the history of the sport could be compared when it comes to shape and the size of the peaks ( Boyer Coe, Lee Priest, Arnold and a few others ) because they were pretty much perfect, Dorian, your respect for Robby and the respect you show him is truly heart warming. I always tried to live my life the same way by respecting my elders and listening to their stories because people who came before you and had experiences in different times of history, you can really learn a lot from and guys like Robby who grew up with racial issues and faced adversity that is unimaginable, deserves a ton of respect for not only living through it ,but persevering in the face of adversity. Amazing interview Dorian. Two of the greats sitting down and talking and Dorian being as respectful as it gets. Great job.

Robby is a cool guy and won SO many championships some time I hope to meet him! I met Mike Mentzer in 1990!
Great interview, I didn't know Robby went to Vietnam, luckily he came out of it alive and well. Nonetheless, that must have been a true life changing experience for him. Robby is one of the all-time greats in bodybuilding, he's the ultimate mass with class, a true classic bodybuilder, with those peaked biceps, flaring lats and small waist. My favorite shots of him are probably when he posed in World Gym in 2006, he must have been in his early sixties. Simply astonishing, with even cuts on the side of his legs. You can still see he truly lives and breathes bodybuilding, it's not only the physique to him, but it's a lifestyle that he still practices and preaches to this day.
Dorian many years ago you were one of my hero’s in the world of body building and it’s nice to see we have grown older together and thinned down somewhat 😂🇬🇧😂🇬🇧

You think his voice is amazing look I get it hes a well known body builder of the old guys but you can barely understand what hes saying lol this guy talks like like he has a 3rd grade education lol and he talks about race about everything if I was doing I would have ended the interview as soon as he started bringing up race about everything I get so sick of that Ronnie Coleman and these guys don't talk about race

@@tazz5406 See someone agrees with me the dude is clearly not a very intelligent guy and he wants to bring rac and everything I saw interviews with him years ago well that’s all he ever does is bring up rac and claim that he was getting discriminated against bodybuilding the one sport where nobody ever makes that claim he’s like the only guy bodybuilding actually picks who’s the best guy they don’t do it by race Ronnie Coleman 18 and a row so did Lee Haney so if it was my race they would’ve made sure those guys was losing in between there during 16 because dorian was the best Jay Cutler 14 because he was the best has nothing to do with Reese yeah this Robbie Robinson die always brings reset everything and I’m just sick of it in the world in general of people bringing race into everything not being responsible for themselves

Can totally relate to the first few minutes...at 14 i bought those magazines in small newsagents and on my bedroom wall I had Page 3 girls one side of the room and cut outs of Dorian and Robby and Mike Quinn on the other ..my mum was more than a bit worried 🤣🤣

More balanced audio please. Can't hear Dorian much at times.
I like the interview even though Robbie either avoided answering some questions or maybe didn't understand or hear the questions correctly. Out of respect Dorian didn't double down on the questions but I found it a little frustrating.

most conditioned and proportional bodybuilders ever, if he wanted and could take as much stuff as other guys he would be one of the biggest..
I'm a fan of both but I quit watching after about 5 minutes. Dorian...you need to let your guests talk more, and if they are reluctant to talk, then draw them out with good questions. Shouldn't have to get halfway through this just to hear the guy's experiences.
