As a former bouncer in strip clubs and night clubs, I am immediately skeptical of any patron who being escorted out by security and claiming they don't know why. 98% of the time it's because they are too drunk to know what's going on, they are either belligerent or incoherent (or both) and they have caused a problem. Most of the time security doesn't "start" the problem but they are there to solve the problem. So I immediately have flags up when she's trying to play the victim and act like she doesn't know why she's being treated the way she is.

I'm the opposite. Ive encountered the worst type of bouncers and now I'm petrified of them. They used to sexually harass women waiting in line, touch their bums as they walk by etc. One tried to get my cousins bf to hit her. One blocked me from leaving with the group I was with. They knew I was now on my own and vulnerable
I asked why and just grinned at me. I was petrified. They only let me out when the police turned up as someone had called them. I know there are good ones out there , unfortunately I'm too scared to go anywhere atm so ive never met them

Let us pretend she has a concussion and she's catatonic at that moment, that doesn't explain her friend acting so calmly as if nothing happened either.

The night vision cameras work by detecting infrared radiation. They have infrared lights on them which are invisible to our eye. The shade of black and white is determined by how much surfaces are either reflecting the IR light from the camera or emitting their own Infrared radiation.
People's skin will appear lighter because we emit IR radiation. Black jeans will still appear black because they're absorbing the IR light. Where as an black satiny, polyester top would reflect the IR light therefore appear lighter to the camera.

Drunk people often fall without their bodies having time to become tense. They still get injured but maybe not as much as someone who tries to save themselves. Picture the way someone extends their arm to catch their fall and ends up breaking a wrist from the impact. Also, drunk people may not feel the physical pain from injuries until they start to sober up.

I fell down a flight of stairs in 2020 as a result of low blood sugar (I’m diabetic) and floppy socks (it was January) on a wooden staircase. I only bruised my tailbone and injured some muscles in my back, but was otherwise fine. I decidedly “flew” down the stairs as my foot went out from under me Looney Tunes style and I proceeded to skip off the front edge of the stairs with my posterior like a rock skipping on a pond. Exquisitely painful… but no broken bones or concussions. And it took me some time to get up afterwards as I was in a lot of pain and shock.

The bar’s explanation of there being a gap between the cameras makes no sense tho. “It’s only like 8 steps” but there’s a 2 minute difference?? In what world does it take 2 minutes to walk 8 steps?? It’s very suspicious that the 2 minute gap happened right where there were no cameras and exactly where she claimed the abuse happened without her knowing where the cameras were/weren’t at. The bar situation seems like a tough one. You’d think if she’d been thrown down the stairs as violently as she said she was she wouldn’t just be calmly walking out at the end? Especially with their only being a 2 minute gap, if being thrown down the stairs violently enough to cause a concussion I feel like it would be tough to calmly walk down another flight of stairs less than 2 minutes later? I guess we’ll see how this goes down in court! We live in a sue happy world, so it’s hard to know whether this is exaggerated or entirely true. The video footage makes it even harder. I got a concussion once from being hit on the back of my head with a mallet, and I couldn’t even stand up straight for a few minutes, let alone walk down a flight of stairs calmly without falling down. Obviously everyone is different and handles injury different, but this just seems off.

I do not know why she is lying, maybe she didn't like that they called her out on her drug use and she thought she get back at them, junkies can be very dumb and honestly I do not see any other reason other than her being a junkie out for revenge.

Nothing in either the bouncers or her behavior suggest a violent altercation, no sign of lacerations or concussion. There is an unknown gap in time between her exiting the bar seemingly fine and the time she went to hospital. In that time she could have sustained the injuries in any number of ways. Her involving lawyers, before she was sued suggests to me she was/is planning to sue the bar.

I worked at a local Gay bar in my area for about 5 years as a doorman (not security) just the door man that checked I.D’s, we had other employees for security detail……
I can not explain to you how many of the people we had to ask to leave were Blacked out drunk white Women.
They were literally our worst and most problematic guests.
Don’t miss-understand we did have to escort people of all gender identities out many times.
However with that being said this is simply factual, not conjecture nor hyperbolic.
The vast and overwhelming majority of the people that were asked to leave……Were straight white ladies that were plastered at the Gay bar thinking they run the place.
The ladies bathroom was always a disaster. Broken mirrors, toilets, sink handles, stall latches and once one of the sinks was ripped clean out of the wall because 2 adult women were STANDING on the sink to “Take a better selfie”.
Keep in mind….. I’m at work. I’m stone cold sober (we weren’t allowed to drink on shifts) so I’m not embellishing nor over exaggerating these facts.
I can’t even begin to tell you how many pairs of disgusting ladies under pants and sanitary products we had to remove from sinks, toilets, walls, stall doors, mirrors and floors. It was absolutely the most disgusting and embarrassing bathroom treatment I’ve ever witnessed.
Bodily fluids on the floors,Toilet seats and walls and the most repaired room in the entire establishment as it was always the ladies restroom that got destroyed…..
    Which brings me to my
    Point.
On THREE occasions. Count them THREE occasions I had a drunk woman either try to hit, spit on,kick or curse me out because she had to be asked to leave.
For whatever reason the women guests seem to be more combative, aggressive and belligerent.
On ALL THREE occasions my place of work was called and I was accused of similar actions.
ALL THREE times camera footage was pulled and I was immediately cleared as they were LYING!
Not just myself. Fellow coworkers were also accused (by women) of similar behavior and also immediately cleared once the camera footage revealed a range of average sized women trying to hit, kick, punch and spit on huge security and doormen.
    In conclusion.
I DONT BELIEVE A WORD SHE SAYS.
Not sorry. I’ve been in this exact situation too many times to be able to believe her fully
With blind faith in her drunken memory.
If it did happen to her,I’m very sorry she was treated that way,but I’m going to need A LOT more proof before I just take the word of a drunken bar guest.
If this comment offends you that tells
    Me one of two things…….
Either You’ve never worked in a bar setting and had to deal with these types of people and can’t comprehend how entitled, ignorant and sloppy people can truly be.
Or you’re the one that’s been asked to leave.
    I said what I said. 🤷‍♂️

She’s lying. The Hubbard inn does have a third floor. But her own police report says this all starts in the bathroom, which we see in the second floor footage. So she was only taken down one flight of stairs, which we see.
In the two minute gap you’d have to assume they threw them down the stairs, brought them back up, and then had them walk down.
Or, since they were originally escorted individually, they brought them together, the friend put on her jacket, which she was carrying in the first video but wearing in the second, and they or at least Julia, argued with the security guards until they got them to walk down the stairs. Julia was clearly intoxicated. Either from alcohol or drugs or both. At the bottom of the stairs she tries to go away from the exit and her friend and the security guard have to convince her to go the correct way. She may have bruises. But at this point, with how her story doesn’t align with the police report she filed which doesn’t align with the footage, it’s safe to assume she fell, perhaps after leaving the bar, because she was so disorderly and intoxicated. She blamed the bar to recover some lost pride and it’s blown up in her face.
She wants you to believe there’s some other staircase she was thrown down, which riled her up and made her yell and scream, and then she calmed down and was just acting intoxicated and confused one minute later. Nonsense.

I enjoy your coverage of the cruise the way it is and unless going on the cruise is really something you want to do there's no need to really change it. Please, just do what's best for you

If Hubbard Inn sued her. I honestly think they have the proof they need to win. A bar (especially with this going viral) usually wouldn’t file a defamation suit if they didn’t have a pretty good case. It’s insanely hard to prove defamation. So, I tend to lean towards the bar rather being innocent. 15:24 I think she may have had too much to drink and may have fallen which caused injuries. I think she exaggerated and didn’t expect it to go viral. She may very well believe something happened. I just don’t believe the bouncer’s did anything based on what we can clearly see from the video. Her lawyers also kind of elude to that being her in the video the bar posted. We shall see what happens.

Hard to say they likely also have a lot more money and a lawyer on hand to deal with legal issues that can come from a bar and patrons.

@@Ashbrash1998 yeah but they have so much more to lose by lying. I just don’t believe her after that video. If she was hurt in the 2 minute time frame. There would be signs on the videos. She wouldn’t just be calmly walking out. The whole story is very off.

As someone who frequents nightclubs and runs into lots of white girls that get bounced, I do think SHE believes she was harassed and man handled but I don't think it was fully the truth to the situations. The amount of girls that scream abuse at bouncers when all they did was catch them from faceplanting after they stumbled is laughable. The number of times I have seen a girl fall down a few steps while getting kicked out and then tell the ems that got called the bouncer pushed them is also weirdly high. People in an altered mindset have an altered view and the truth is somewhere between her story and what the bar put out to the public.

I stopped drinking at the age of 23 and I'm 30 now. And I'm not defending her. BUT security guards are like hella aggressive these days. I've seen them be really aggressive with women who are legit like 3x smaller than them and they just look for reasons to put their hands on ppl.

Also about getting you on a cruise: as much as I love the idea in a vacuum, reality is that you will suffer terribly on the miserable ship full of entitled people. And motion sickness will make the hell even deeper! So please, just do what's best for you ❤️

I have just looked at their google reviews, I have seen many reviews that are from before this event and most of them are about how security is unprofessional, and get heated for seemingly no reason. They also seem to go very far with their "pat downs" and their searches. Not only security but staff has also been said to just be on their phones and don't seemed trained.

Probably not, since they would not want to get into the fray and possible legal action from the bar too.

DO NOT go if you think you will be sick. Yes there is things you can do to try and mitigate that, BUT DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU THINK IT WILL HURT YOU. It won’t be worth it. Just keep covering the drama from the solid ground!!!❤️😂

if she went to the hospital and there was a report then it could be possible they manhandled her like everyone knows and you said, some bouncers think they are god and treat people with very little respect. but at the same time to be pushed twice down the stairs and your friend and you are that chill being exited out is very fishy. and yes it could be a trauma response to not react after being assaulted but if my friend was assaulted i wouldn’t be very calm after seeing that.

To address the different colored tops- in the upstairs footage, you can tell the camera is in full color/normal mode. The downstairs footage, you can clearly tell the camera is on night vision mode. I've watched enough Ghost Adventures in my lifetime to know that night vision will make a black top not look like a black top a lot of times. 😂

Zak Bagans and his crew are almost always dressed in black, and sometimes the night vision will make a piece of black clothing look white. Don't ask me the science behind it. 😅
