i usually let him know I'm just messing with him he is my brother after all
just taking advantage of the targets suspicion is the core of it
whether you want to lean into and act all jovial or smile like an idiot
or if you want to go more subtle you can just linger standing around like you are waiting for them to fall victim to your prank
food gifts work especially well because you can act all suspicious and trigger there red flags after/while they consume it so they are stuck with a "God what did i just eat!?"
warning if you leave them believing they just drank your spit they will hate you to them this prank is exactly the same as the real thing
now ive never done this but in theory the apex of this is if you some how make you think you have a vendetta against the entire place and that you poisoned the cupcakes or something you are giving everyone ideally at an event or break/meeting room so they can look crazy rushing in to stop them from eating the perfectly fine food
