İ bought this radio for 87.58 euro from the Dutch Amazon. İt is the Amber colored screen, rubber feet and Usb-C port for charging so it is the new improved version. İ highly recommend this DSP radio receiver!!!

I have also sw,mw receiver tecsun r 9012. I can receive many foreign sw stations even at day time and mw is also very good,in the late evening,and sometimes at day time especially in winter.

Great radio here in 2022.I think they are around 14.00 now in November.A very solid built radio and even cheap batteries last forever,as well as very sensitive,esp AM and SW.Highly recommended for beginners.

I've owned 5 of these radios because i keep giving them to friends.They are great on A.M and S,W. but not F.M. For F.M. I suggest a D.S.P. radio. These are Analog tuned a pleasure to use on A,M. and S.W. Good selectivity and voice sound (treble) . Batteries last a long time . Simple to use with only on/off ,volume and tuning knobs.And they only cost 20 Bucks!

Just bought a clone of this one, now called R9700DX. For a cheap radio it's not bad. Got it because we are in a global emergency with Russia threatening nuclear war. Keep prepping, people.

They say the Fujitsu NiMH batteries are the ORIGINAL Eneloop batteries, made in the same Twicell factory in Japan that made Eneloop batteries for Sanyo. Panasonic Eneloop batteries, while using the Eneloop branding, are no longer the same Eneloop batteries which Sanyo sold because those Panasonic Eneloops are no longer made in Japan, and are instead made in China for Panasonic. When Panasonic acquired Sanyo many years ago, the Japanese govt. wanted the Twicell factory to be excluded from the deal and remain under Japanese control, so it was transferred to Fujitsu. However, Fujitsu cannot use the Eneloop brand because Panasonic owns it. Panasonic Eneloop is not as good as the original Sanyo (now Fujitsu) Eneloops, and had to use workaround technology to mimick the original Sanyo/Twicell Eneloop technology (which are likely protected by patents), and are said to degrade already after only about 20 charge cycles. If you want the real Eneloop batteries, get Fujitsu NiMH batteries. Even their Alkaline batteries (also from Twicell?) are said to be the best when it comes to leak resistance, which plagues countless alkaline battery brands.

Hi, thank you for this video. I have the same radio, I can receive from France, Chinese radios, and also Vietnam radio, so amazing for a so little radio. Some R-9012 have a plug for an external antenna, I don' t know if the reception is better. The button to select the band was very weak on my first R-9012 and after 2 years was out of order.
